Airport Adventure Guy?

I didn't know who the guy who just flirted with me, and that I just flirted with so I made his name in my phone Adventure Airport Guy.

I hailed a cab, as I looke to my right I think I saw my Advenute Airport Guy's beanie but who knows? This airport was huge and lots of people come and go from New York.

The cab driver stopped in front of my building, I gave him the cost of the fare and let him keep the change because I was in good mood. He opened the back door for me and gave me my suitcases. I smiled and wished him a good day. I made my way to the elevator and felt my phone buzz. I didn't check it because I figured it was just my mom texting me making sure I got home safely so I waited till I got into my loft. But no. It kept vibrating so I took it out of my pocket. It was Adventure Airport Guy.

I replied in multiple messages, as he did to me.

I felt my pockets for the keys to my loft. Opened the door and it felt so peaceful, so quiet. I could tell I was going to like living here again.

Airport Adveture Guy texted me back :umm yeah it's not like i'm going to try and kill you! but we can go to Pizza Hut in the Square at 3 if you are free!

I felt really happy. My first few hours in New York and i already have a date? you could say.

i typed: Yeah that sounds good to me! You better not be late!

It was only Noon now. So i had plenty of time to get ready.

A few hours later I felt my phone vibrating like crazy again and sure enough it was Adventure Airport Guy. I called him back.

Alaska Young where are you?!?!? I don't see you anywhere in here!!

Fuck.... I fell asleep! I'm so sorry. Let me change and stuff and I'llbe there in 10 minutes okay? I promise!!!

No.. You dont have to change! You looked cute at the airport earlier.

I could hear his smile through the phone.

Okay... but I'll be running there I'm not going to take the bus or a cab!

He laughed at me but he said okay.

A few moments later, I arrived at the Pizza Hut where we said we would meet at. I looked around for this guy and i felt a hand on my shoulder as I walked by a booth. I flinched and turned around. It was him. Adventure Airport Guy in the flesh.

I sat down across from him and flashed him my smile and that made him blush.

" fell asleep I was jusSooo.... I'm sorry that It so tired I've been up for a long time.... jetlag or whatever you call it is setting in sorta so thats why", I rambeled on as i looked at the table because I couldn't dare look at him for telling him not to be late when I was the one that was late...

Its fine, Alaska. Dont worry about it okay? I am just glad you came and didnt blow me off!

I explained to him, that I would never blow him off.

The waitress asked if we wanted anything to drink. I told her "Dr. Pepper". and He told her Coke.

He looked at me weird and had this huge ass grin on his face.

Why are you looking at me like that? I asked

You didn't get a water! Girls never get pop. They always get water!

Now I was the one giving him the smirk. "Thats right my friend. Maybe I'm not like other girls."

"My names Luke. Luke Hemmings." He said as he grinned at me.

I finally had a name to my Adventure Airport Guy. I nodded to it. and said "I'm Alaska Young, you're the one who texted me about this so lets discuss music then, Luke Hemmings"

We talked so much, that we didn't even notice that our drinks came. I could tell that Luke and I would be good friends if we kept this up.

We talked about music for the most part and I was perfectly okay with that, because I didn't like telling people much about myself because they would always feel bad for me usually.

It was 5 o clock now, we were stil at Pizza Hut and I was getting restless so I slid from my side of the booth held my hand out for Luke. He payed for our drinks and took my hand. I pulled him through the doors and took the city air in with a big smile on my face and we started walking.

Luke asked me where we were going, but I didn't answer him. I kept walking till we reached the crosswalk and I whispered in his ear "We are going get to know each other by having some fun!" before I spoke I could feel Luke tense up, and I thought that was pretty cute.
