Mr. D's Dare

Will's POV

I looked around the circle and chose my victim.  "Leo, truth or dare?" I felt bad for him, but I knew he would pick dare and I feel like he could take the dare and get the least consequences out of everyone.  As expected, he replied "DARE" triumphantly and grinned like a mad man.  

"Okay then," I glanced over at Y/N who gave me an encouraging nod. "I dare you to go to Mr.D and ask for his specialty." Everyone except for Y/N looked at me confused, but still, Leo said "Uh, yeah totally. I accept, let's do this."  

So we all got up, following Leo, and headed to the Mess Hall, where Mr. D told Y/N and me he would be.  There were quiet conversations among everyone as we proceeded to our destination, and as everyone but Y/N and I had their s.o. (significant other) present, we defaulted talking to each other.

"I wonder what he has in store for Leo" Y/N said in a whisper to me. 

"Yeah I have no idea, but not gonna lie, I'm kinda worried for him.  Like what if I just gave Leo his death sentence- well his sEcOND death sentence! Do you realize that would make me a murderer?! Gods, so many people would be lining up to kill me starting with Calypso and Chiron and Hep-" 

Y/N cut me off before I could finish my rant about how bad of an idea this was. "Stop. There is nothing to worry about, Mr. D may be an arse sometimes, but he's not gonna kill any demigod- at least not Leo. Just relax, for Hades' sake it may not be all that bad"

Well, she wasn't 100% wrong.

Leo's POV

I was super confused when I was dared to ask for Mr.D's 'specialty.'  I mean what even is that, a spa treatment? A gift? A new torturing idea?  Maybe a combination of all three, but any did not sound good to me.  Calypso was worried about me, which I love, but I did it anyway.  Momma ain't raised no....     Uh anyways, I wasn't gonna so no to a dare in front of all of my friends, so we finally reached the mess hall to find Mr. D with two satyrs by his side looking scared as always.  But this time I felt like a satyr, cause he seemed to be waiting for us, and as soon as we entered the Mess Hall he locked eyes with me.  'This is not a good sign' I thought to myself.  I looked back at Will, but before I could turn around Mr. D seemingly, and pointlessly might I add, yelled "Well hello children.  What can I aid you with?" 

A sly grin played on his face. I tried to swallow down the bundle of nerves building in me, but when I spoke my voice was an octave higher than normal. "I would like one order of the World Famous Mr. D Special!" As much as my fake confidence had failed internally, my words made the whole thing seem slightly more interesting and fun.  But my hopes were once again crushed when Mr. D smiled and replied "World Famous. Yes, I suppose it is... Well, I am glad someone around here appreciates my talents and hard work." 

I heard someone huffs and groans from the rest of the group, who had all sat down at the tables near me, while I remained standing.  I tried not to roll my eyes in annoyance and faked a smile while I nodded in agreement with Mr. D.  He then motioned to one of the satyrs who placed a wine glass in front of him, while the second satyr brought out a silver tray that had several bottles of assorted liquids on it.  Mr. D started to wave his hands and liquids from the tray seemed to fill up the wine glass.  Every once in a while Mr. D would wave his hand and pull some spice or plant out of the air to add to the drink.  He went on until a dark, maroon liquid had filled the glass.  He then stirred the liquid, and to my surprise, it actually seemed edible and appetizing.  While he was stirring the glass Y/N spoke up "Uhm, just to like, make sure. This is okay to drink right? Like he's not gonna die or anything ?" I got wide-eyed and I saw Percy lightly hit Y/N to get her to stop talking.  Then, Annabeth spoke up and asked "And, it's legal for him to drink right? Like he could be a designated driver if you get what I mean." She trailed off with her words, and now the entire group was looking between me and Mr. D.
