Grapes of Wrath

Y/N POV

I stopped singing when grape vines were sprouting out of my ears.  I just finished the first chorus when I noticed that Will had stopped strumming his guitar.  I was confused and turned to look at him, only to see vines wrapping around his hands, forcing him to stop playing.  Then I noticed I had the same problem as the vines started to wrap around my mouth like a gag.  I started to scream but was soon silenced by the plants.  Will and I both stared at one another terrified, while Mr. D sat in his chair looking assumed.  Piper then rushed out from behind Will and me and frantically told Mr. D about our game of truth or dare.  

"So if you could please just release them from your godly grape vines, we would greatly appreciate it, sir"  Piper pleaded to the god, with charmspeak laced throughout every word.  Mr. D looked at the two of us and waved his hand.  The vines dropped from both my mouth and  Will's hands; thankful me and Will went up to Mr. D and apologized.

"We are so sorry, it was just a game," I said

"Yeah, we didn't mean to upset you" Will agreed with me, trying to reason with the god. 

"And don't blame Will, I brought him into this whole thi-"

Before I could finish my sentence, Mr. D raised a hand to silence us.  "Look, I should give you stable cleaning duties for a month, but I have a different idea in mind if you two are up for it," he said to us.  I looked at Will shocked, but turned back to Mr. D and replied "Uh, sure.  What do we need to do?"  Mr. D smiled at us and spoke "Well since you are playing this game, I have a small request.  I want you to dare someone to........."

Will and I stared at him confused.  "Not to be rude, or ungrateful for not punishing us, but why would you rather us get someone to do that than us clean stables?" Will questioned.  I elbowed him for such a stupid question- I did not want to clean for a month.  Luckily Mr. D smiled and said "You forget children, I am the God of Parties, and invited Truth or Dare.  So I know how to have fun.  Just do as I say and all is forgiven." Will and I nodded at each other and returned back to the cabin, where all the other players were.  

"Hey so Will is playing now, and I think he should pick whose next," I said to the group.  Everyone nodded in agreement and welcomed Will.  

If they only knew....

Hi y'all! Hope y'all enjoyed the chapter.  Sorry it was so short and took me a long time.  I really want to make these chapter interesting and longer, so I got something big planned.  I may not be able to update for a few days, but I will ASAP.  Thanks for everything!
