Hey guys, Enjoy our first attempt at a Solangelo One shot!

Nico's POV:

It was what most people would call a beautiful day, cloudless sky, cool breeze, but for me, it was just as dark and gloomy as always. Even worse, my annoyance of a boyfriend, Will, forced me to go on a 'relaxing' walk. Pssh, soooo relaxing getting eaten alive by mosquitos in the blazing summer heat, but of course, Will wouldn't mind that. He's the freaking son of the SUN god. He walked cheerfully beside me, while I glared at the ground, letting my hair fall in front of my eyes. Will reached for my hand, and I glared at him but let him take it. He smiled wider, and I pushed away the nagging thought that insisted he was adorable. Will stopped suddenly, and I curiously looked up at him. He was squinting into the lake

"Do you see something in the water?" He questioned

"Are you feeling alright, Solace?" I teased

He glared at me. "Fine. There's nothing there."

He turned to me, and all of a sudden we were face to face, close enough that I could count every freckle on his face.

I felt my face growing hotter by the minute. Was it the warmth of Will or was it just me? He smiled which just made me blush harder

I opened my mouth to say something, something sarcastic, but he reached out and brushed my hair away from my eyes so I was staring right into his ice-blue ones. By now my face was burning, and I cleared my throat, looking anywhere but at his lips. He laughed softly, lifting my chin. I felt myself panicking, and looked into his eyes, which were soft. My hands trembled, and Will took them, and before I knew what was happening, he was pressing his lips to mine. I made an undignified squeaking sound, and reached up, finding his golden hair and grasping it, pulling him closer. I felt Will smile, and then he jumped backwards as if he had been shocked, staring wide-eyed at the lake. I whirled around too, millions of worries swarming my head, and guess what I saw?

Percy freaking Jackson, who was STANDING on the water like it was just a regular thing and staring at us like we had just turned into walking, talking blue pancakes.

Percy's POV:

I felt arms wrap around me, and whirled around to see Annabeth smiling at me. I tried to say something with a mouthful of blue pancakes, but she just pressed a hand over my mouth and said,

"Good morning, Seaweed Brain. I was going to ask you if we could go out for breakfast somewhere, but it seems you've already found a date." she added with a smirk

I shrugged, swallowing my pancakes and saying, "I have no shame when it comes to blue food. Besides, I was going to go hang with the fish at the lake anyways. They wanted to talk to me."

Annabeth pouted. "The fish are more important than me?"

I smiled and stood up, giving her a quick kiss. "I promise we'll do something tomorrow. But I gotta keep the fish happy. It's actually nice having a school of salmon worship you."

Annabeth grinned at me. "Ok, but you better follow up on your promise. I'm warning you, I've been practicing judo-flipping people." She raised her eyebrows at me, widening her stormy gray eyes.

"I don't doubt that" I reassured her, giving her one last wink before jogging towards the lake, a goofy smile still on my face.

I reached the lake shore and didn't bother taking my shirt off before diving in and treading in the shallows, waiting, but not long after I I heard a tiny chorus of

"Percy! Percy! Percy!"

I smiled and watched the school of salmon eagerly swim up to me, circling around me happily.. But before I could get a word out, I heard mumbles from the lake shore.

"One sec, you guys." I said.

They circled faster, flapping their fins impatiently. I propelled myself to the surface of the lake, willing the water to support my feet as I scanned the shore. And I was NOT prepared to see Will Solace and Nico Di Angelo making out. Oh gods. I internally fangirl screamed of course, MY SHIP WAS CANON!!!!! But then my excited thoughts were interrupted with a startling thought.,.

"Oh, seashells, II better give them some privacy" I thought, feeling guilty. But also WHAT WAS HAPPENING? AND WHY WAS I SUDDENLY CRAVING BLUE WAFFLES?

But before I could dive back under, the worst possible, unimaginable, TERRIBLE thing happened. Will Solace opened his eyes and looked right at me.

Will's POV:

I pulled Nico closer, wishing he would kiss me more often, when I heard a splash. My eyes flew open, and I leapt backwards, staring at that darn sneaky son of Poseidon, Percy Jackson. He stared open mouthed, gaping like the slimy fish that he is. Then he flushed a brilliant red, and plunged back underwater.

We just stood there, faces nearly as bright as Percy's was. There were several second of shocked silence, before Nico shouted, "I WILL GET YOU, PERCY FREAKING JACKSON." His face was now flushed with fury, and then he turned to me, his roar turning to nervous stuttering.

"Um... th-thank you. I m-mean, I... umm..."

I smiled at Nico, and said softly, "I love you Neeks."making him blush and look away. Then I shifted the volume in my voice dramatically

"NOW LET'S GO GET THAT NO-GOOD ROMANCE-RUINING FISH BOY" I yelled, grabbing Nico's small, pale hand, and pulling him along the path, which made him chuckle softly.

I heard a splash and watched a dark streak fly through the water towards camp. Gritting my teeth, I glanced at Nico, who was also glaring at the dark streak that was the nosy spying son of Poseidon. He gave me a look, and we gave each other evil grins.. Honestly, I really love Nico's dark side. It's kind of cute. No one would ever guess such a small and frail looking boy could be so cleverly evil. I find him feisty, like a little emo chihuahua. It's adorable.

He smirked deviously rubbing his palms together "Hey Will?"

"Yeah?" I replied

"Let's go fishing" he said with a smile that made me glad I wasn't Percy.
