Percy's POV:
I've never been so nervous in my entire life. I adjusted my indigo bow tie, and took a deep breath as I walked through the seashell archway, making my way to the sandy chapel. As I walked down the aisle an uncontrollable grin spread across my face, overcome with excitement as I looked down at all the people that I cared about smiling back at me.
When I reached the end, I took my place standing next to my best man, Grover, who gave me a reassuring smile and a pat on the back. I looked out into the crowd, scanning for people I knew. I first spotted my mom, sitting next to Paul, smiling from ear to ear. After spotting many more people such as Chiron, Clarisse and chris, Katie and Travis, Will and Nico, and Rachel Dare. Even Blackjack was there, flapping his wings cheerfully beside the chairs and chattering about doughnuts. But the two faces that surprised me the most were my father, Poseidon, and Annabeth's mother, Athena. They were sitting next to each other, smiling and waving cheerfully.. Well, at least poseidon was. Athena stared celestial bronze daggers at me, as if to say "Don't mess this up" I guess she still hadn't gotten over the fact that Annabeth loved me, a son of poseidon, who she usually despises. And Zeus was there too?! Jeez. I was snapped out of my thoughts by a gasp from the crowd, and I gasped as well when I saw Annabeth walking down the path.
Annabeth NEVER wears dresses.
And yet, she looked stunning in a white dress with silver lining that made her stormy grey eyes stand out so much more. She smiled at me, a little embarrassed, but I gave her a goofy grin back. I tried to tell her with my eyes that she looked amazing, although it was clear she felt silly wearing a fancy white wedding dress.
Annabeth was holding a bouquet of blue lilacs, which left several teal petals on the sandy floor. I was thinking roses, but she insisted that the lilacs matched my eyes, and she's extremely stubborn, so I just went with it. But now, I thought it looked perfect, and I could feel her getting less embarrassed as she stepped up next to me. I smiled and she smiled back at me, just as happy and excited for our future as I was.
Her eyes shone with happiness and I took her hand. Behind us, Chiron cleared his throat and spoke, a long speech, although I wasn't really paying much attention. I was mostly staring at Annabeth and thinking how unbelievably gorgeous she looked. Eventually I realized Annabeth was giving me her "you are doing something wrong Seaweed Brain" look, and Chiron cleared his throat behind me. Suddenly I remembered what Chiron had just said. Blushing furiously, I said as fast as I could, "I do. I absolutely, completely do, Wise girl." the crowd sighed a sigh of relief
She elbowed me lightly and said, "I do too, Seaweed Brain.", earning a giant "Awwww" from the crowd
"You may kiss your beautiful bride" Chiron finally spoke
"Finally" I muttered, earning a snicker from several people.
I could feel Annabeth smile as our lips touch, and I smiled too, enjoying the moment and trying not to focus on the fact that Athena was giving me a death glare scary enough to make Hades himself uneasy. Poseidon whistled, and earned another glare from Athena, but he winked at me,and I laughed. Athena was definitely not going to ruin my wedding day.
As I had previously requested, Blackjack trotted up and bowed his head, allowing me and Annabeth to jump on. He snickered and muttered something about donuts, but I was too happy to care. Annabeth laughed and stroked his head, and he huffed, beginning to trot towards the beach. Annabeth wrapped her arms around me, and as Blackjack picked up the pace, Annabeth tossed the bouquet into the gathering crowd.
NICO'S POV:
I hate my life.
Out of all 143 people, of course it just had to be me
