Peter Parker drummed his fingers on the side of the desk waiting patiently to be let out. Decathlon practice was next and he wanted to prepare himself in their final session. Peter had worked vigorously to prepare himself for this competition, despite tony's protests for needing him in the lab and helping Peter with his training, he was adamant on being perfectly ready.

Staring at the clock his teacher, Mr Harrington, broke him from his reverie to get his class's attention. A wide grin broke out on the teachers face.

"Now class, I have some very exciting news to share with you all. We're going on a field trip!" 

Murmurs of enthusiasm and curiosity spread through the class. Peter was also eager to know where they were going as they rarely got to attend trips. The teenagers waited with rapt attention to know where were going.

"We have the privilege of getting a special tour of stark industries!" He presented with delight.

On a scale of 0-10 the excitement shot 0 to 1000000. All except one. Ned nudged Peter's side, a look of shock and happiness spread across his face.

"Dude! We get a tour of stark industries. Man this is so cool. Do we get to meet the avengers? Will I finally meet captain america?"

Peter chuckled at his best friend. "No but that's your Christmas gift sorted though."

"Really? Peter. Peter! Don't play with my emotions like this."

As much as Peter loved his internship and being with the avengers, he was there nearly everyday, so it wasn't much of a field trip for him. And it didn't help that most of the school didn't believe he had a internship thanks to flash.

He simply smiled at his best friend. As peter was about to leave, Mr Harrington wanted a word with him.

"Yes sir?" Peter asked politely.

"Due to certain rumours, i wanted to clear the air with you. It isn't smart to lie for popularity. Everyone knows that your internship is a lie. They would never consider a high schooler. They only accept college graduates and they're the best of the best. Mr Parker I understand the difficulties you've been through with your family these past few years but it isn't okay to lie. Do you understand me?" He looked sternly up at Peter

He wanted to argue. To protest. To tell him it was true. But he decided there was no use. Through gritted he managed a response of "yes sir" and left the classroom in a very sour mood.

When he was in the hallway, Peter heard a shout. "Hey Penis Parker! We get to see your old buddy Tony Stark tomorrow. From your internship, right?" He turned around mockingly at Peter and shouted "Oh wait. It doesn't exist!" The students laughed with Flash and Peter simply kept his head down, ignoring Flash. Clearly Flash didn't appreciate that.

"Parker I'm talking to you!"

He was once again ignored. Like lighting, Flash had Peter pinned against the locker.

"I'm going to show everyone how much you lied. You're nothing Parker, nothing." Flash hissed. With a punch to peter's stomach he walked away to decathlon practice.

Ned rushed to Peter's side to help him up.

"Are you okay man?" He asked worriedly 

Pain surged through his stomach. He knew he could take Flash on however that would his blow his cover and he didn't want to damage Flash with his strength. So he simply endured the bullying. With the help of Ned, he went to their decathlon practice and then went home.
