No Matter What (McFinest Max FanFic)

Chapter 4

Darkness.

Thats all I can see.

And then there's that one piece of light that seems so close, yet it's so far.

I've tried walking towards it but I can never reach it.

And Suddenly...

I feel a wave of electricity surge thru my body.

And that I start to hear a beeping sound.

It sounds like one of those heart monitors in the hospital.

I can hear muffled cries now.

It sounds like a guy sobbing.

I try to move but I can't.

MOVE BODY MOVE!!!

And finally I can move my hand.

And then I feel something grabbing ahold of my hand.

And then I hear the man speaking.

" Joanna, I know we just met a couple months ago, but I just feel something towards you that I just can't explain! "

" Joanna, I'm in love with you. "

WHAT??????

" And nothing can change that, No Matter What. "

And with that being said, I hear loud footsteps slowly fading away.

And then I hear the door open and close.

That when I opened my eyes.

Bright Lights start to blind me and I begin to blink.

I hear shouting and people shouting my name. I hear a guy shout for the doctor.

My eyes have finally adjusted and I could see everything.

I saw 3 boys, 2 looking a couple years older than me and one looks like he's my age. They run towards me and start to smile.

Then the doctor comes in with my mother and my sister.

He says his name is Dr.Martins.

He asks me if I remember what happened. I say no.

He explains that I was in a fight with another girl at school and that the girl punched me in my stomach, thus making an asthma attack begin.

So that why I was in the hospital.

But I don't care about that.

I wanna see my best friend, Max.

I ask for him but everybody grows quiet.

Danny says that Max left for a basketball game a couple minutes before I woke up.

Alec said he texted Max and that he was on his way.

An hour later, I see a large silhouette at the door.

I hear shoes squeaking.

And then I felt someone hug me really tightly.

I opened my eyes and saw Max standing there, still wearing his basketball uniform that was really sweaty.

His eyes were really big and he was smiling.

He began to lean in slowly.

His smile began to disappear.

And then he was only centimeters away from my face.

And that's when he kissed me.
