It's been a week since Max kissed me.
Which means it's been a week since I've been at the hospital. The doctors still won't let me leave because they think that I am still in terrible condition.
I'm supposed to go home in 2 days and go back to school. And honestly... I'm not looking forward to school. Max told me that everyone's been giving him sad glances and that they are sorry for what happened to me. And he told me that all he tells them is that I'm not dead and to quit saying sorry.
Did I forgot to mention that Max asked me out? Yep, were supposed to go to dinner this Friday at 6 :)
*Timewarp to 2 days Later*
I'm currently getting ready to leave the hospital. FREEDOM
Max and Danny are helping me round up my stuff and taking it down to Danny's car. God it sounds like I'm moving out of somewhere.
"Well Joanna you seem to be in very good shape and you are now able to a leave the hospital. I'll go get your discharge papers for your parents to sign." Dr. Martins , who I later learn is Jordan and Alec's Dad, tells me as he looks over my chart.
"Thanks Dr.Martins" I respond smiling.
He finally leaves the room leaving me and Max alone.
"So you are finally leaving! Freedom." Max says smirking.
"I know right! I just wanna leave this place and go home and play video games" I say hugging him. Max wraps his hands around me and sets his head on top of mine.
" Oh please, you are coming home with me and we are going to have a Star Wars marathon. No objections." He states with a smile.
"YAY!" I scream in his face.
Max covers his ears as Danny walks in.
" okay guys time to leave " Danny says while laughing.
Max grabs my hand and we both start walking out the door. I started getting this weird tingly sensation all over my body. I think Max was getting it too because we both shuttered at the same time.
We laugh at our reactions and continue to follow Danny out of the hospital and towards his car.
*30 Minutes Later*
Danny dropped us off at Max's house and said he was tired so he wasn't going to join us during our Star Wars marathon. YAY I GET MAX FOR MYSELF. Ugh that sounded super clingy.
We enter the living room and Max starts to set up the TV so we could watch the movies. He asked me to go get pillows and blankets from his room so I started to head up there.
"Hey can you also get my phone from up there?" Max Screamed from the Living Room. " yeah sure" I responded while sniffing the air. Popcorn. YASSS
I enter his room and start gathering up the pillows and blankets. I see his phone and pick it up. Right as I was leaving the room, his screen lite up with a text message.
TEXT MESSAGE: TIFFANY
* So when are you gonna come over and visit babe? ;) *
I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Was Max "getting it on" with Tiffany behind my back? I felt tears gathering on my eyes. ( A/N that soundS weird but i don't know any other ways to word it sowwyyyyy) What am I saying! Tiffany is probably harassing Max again. I deleted the text and walked back down stairs while wiping my eyes and getting rid of the tears.
I drop the pillows and blankets on the floor and start to rearrange them so it would be comfy.
" Hey I made popcorn!" Max says while pouring it into a bowl. He starts walking towards me and lays down on the floor. I join him a few seconds later and hand him his phone. "Thanks Babe"He says while checking his notification. "Your welcome"
Max puts his phone away and presses play on the TV remote.
