Naruto POV

After I gave my clone their bags, I started walking towards the old mans farm, we never spoke at all for the first 10 minutes until Itachi asked "you seem different Naruto" I looked at him from the corner of my eye "I've been through too much to just stay the same" I replied not slowing down "why did they take your headband" Sasuke questioned narrowing his eyes at me, I shrugged "the only reason they would give me was because I was growing to powerful for them to handle" I answered as we got closer to the farm that you could see my clones working, they both froze "I thought you said you still had work to finish" Itachi asked firmly "you never mentioned that your clones were already here" he continue when I never said anything, again I shrugged my shoulders "you never asked" I replied not in the least bit sorry about not telling them, one of my clones came over and announced "boss everything is done, the old man wants to see you now that your back" I nodded my head and lead the others in the direction of his house not watching my clones disappear

The house was only small but since the old man lives alone I don't think he needs much space "old man I'm here" I called out softly since even though he is old, he's not deaf "ah Naruto my boy, thank you for all your hard work today" he said as he moved out of the other room, he looked shocked at seeing the other two but I just smiled softly, I turned to leave after speaking to him for a few minutes "I'll come back just before winter sets in alright, just to make sure things are secure" I called over my shoulder, the brothers haven't said a word while we were inside the house "I see things have improved for you Naruto" Itachi whispered I shook my head slightly "not quite, while the shinobi council want me back in their ranks because I am good at what I do, the civilian side not so much" I replied walking the longest way round since the forest runs the back of my house because that will help with Aoi telling Hina and non of the villagers can ruin it and suddenly announce it to him.

We had finally left the road and was walking through the woods, with non of us saying a word, there use to be a time that Sasuke and I could never be in the same room as each other without arguing and now look at us "are you going to tell us why we weren't allowed to go straight to your home" Itachi asked when we sat down for a break, I looked him straight in the eyes wondering if I should warn him because if he becomes angry I don't want Hina seeing it {and it's not like I haven't got the experience of handling angry Uchiha's} I snorted as I took a quick look at Sasuke "there is, I wanted to let the person I live with time to get herself sorted" I answered warily but I never looked away from him

I saw him look to Sasuke before turning back to me, I sighed because it's now or never "you two aren't the last of the Uchiha Clan, you know" I said staring into space, I felt them get angry but I stayed calm "what do you mean" Sasuke shouted stepping closer to me, again I sighed {I'm doing that a lot today} I thought mentally, rolling my eyes when I heard a certain fox laughing in my head "when I was younger I found a pregnant 14 year old in an alley I use to hide in from villagers, I was shocked to be honest" I paused as I saw Itachi grind his teeth, I wonder if he's angry because of how she was found or he might have an idea about who I'm talking about "she was hurt, so I took her home and allowed her to stay as long as she wanted until she got on her feet" I chuckled softly thinking back to when she came up to me and literally stated that she was staying there and that I wouldn't be able to kick her out, like I would even do that anyway 

"She ended up becoming a permanent house guest, her daughter was born healthy and looking exactly like her father" I finished looking straight at Itachi knowing he would figure it out, but I was going to give him an even further clue "even at the age of fourteen she was beautiful girl, her eyes were so exotic looking, purple and silver eyes are not common colours" I said slowly as I kept my eyes on him, I watched his eyes widen "Aoi, why didn't she tell me" he whispered frowning "I don't think she wanted to pass the burden on to you since you just accepted a mission again, your daughter Hina doesn't know you but we've told her things about you, of course leaving out your name, Aoi was scared about what the council would do if they knew who her father was, especially since they already treated her differently because of me" I commented firmly, though hating that they still blame me for the fox attacking, you wouldn't think it was 20 years ago
