"Hey, change of plans," Tyler says into the phone.

"What's up?" I ask, looking at him.

"I won't be able to come up there Friday. Something's up with the band, nobody knows what's up, I'm not sure when I'll be able to see you..." He says, his voice trailing away.

"Oh,"

"Listen, we'll keep in touch, i just won't be able to meet up for a bit. I'm really sorry." He says, his voice holding some reluctance.

"It's fine, honest."

"Can we skype later?" Tyler asks, glancing at me.

"Sure," I say, bummed I can't see him. Normally, I'd shrug it off, but I really felt a connection with him, something I haven't felt in forever. Nearly three years. I end the call, sitting on my bed. I crawl under the covers, drifting asleep.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I groan, my Skype going off. I move, opening it, seeing Tyler's face. "Hey," he says, smiling.

"U-hi," I say, yawning. Oh my God, my hair is horrible. I nervously pat it down, trying to tame the beast, making Tyler laugh.

"You look fine, I promise," He says, making my laugh nervously. It finally looks slightly better, which I'm thankful for. I sit there, the silence slightly awkward.

"Hey Addison!" Michael yells, standing behind Tyler. I wave awkwardly, smiling at him. He laughs, disappearing.

"What's up?" Tyler asks, as I get up, grabbing my laptop.

"Going downstairs to get a cup of coffee and some breakfast. What's up with you?" I say, turning around to start the Keurig for a cup of coffee. I look around, finding a banana and popping a slice of bread into the toaster. I grab the Nutella, spreading it on the toast and putting the banana slices on top of that. I sit at the island, seeing Tyler sitting there.

"Not much, pissed at this last minute shit." He says, frowning a bit.

"Don't be pissed, it's okay. Besides, I've been really busy with school work," I say, smiling. He cracks a small smile, laughing slightly. His laugh is sweet and smooth, like honey. I take a bite of toast, as Tyler takes a drink of something. It's silent, but a comfortable silence. Like, the kind of silence you get when you've known someone for years, which is odd. I close my eyes, but jump, hearing a knock at the door. I get up, moving to look through the peep hole, but I can't see much. I nervously open the door, stunned. No way.

Author's Note: I know, short little chapter. I've been so busy but I promise I'll make it up to all of you. I go back to school August 15th, so my updates will be a bit slower, especially considering the fact I'll be entering high school (send good vibes and whatnot for a good year, please!). I love you all! :)
