It's raining heavily, street lights were never enough to light up the street from the stormy night, no cars or buses were on the road, but the light splashing coming from the far distance of the dark street, a silhouette of a little girl running in the middle of the road...
"Huff huff huff..." Rachel panted
*boom!*
Thunders boomed around the corner, Rachel ran with her black boots and splashes the puddles on the flat ground, her clothes were soaked wet, her blonde hair drips little by little of rain water, she ran as fast as she could and turn to a dark alleyway, a cold sharp wind run through her red hot cheeks, she continues to ran deeper into the alley
She stopped in the middle of the long dark alleyway and panted hard "I'm...finally out from that...suffering place..." she wipe her wet forehead with a dull yet tired face
Rachel was in the dark, silence alleyway, a pungent smell lingers around her nose, she could hear a soft meow coming from the distance, water drip slowly from her drenched white cardigan, finally...finally...
She starts to look up of a building beside her, and climb up slowly using the rusty ladder of the building
Passes by few window panels and balcony, Rachel finally reach the top of the building. On the rooftop, a rusty drying rack with few wet clothes on it would fall anytime from the strong wind, beside it is an entrance into the building
Rain drops still tapping on the floor, as Rachel look down from the building, gazing with her dull blue eye at the narrow alleyway
"Finally..." she step towards the edge of the rooftop, still gazing down the dark alleyway as she couldn't even see the ground
"Finally...I can!!" Her voice raise a bit, with her arms wide open as the wind blow her timidly
"I CAN FINALLY BE FREE—"
*bang!*
When Rachel shout with her dull voice, a sudden bang interrupt her. She turned around, a tall man wearing a dark brown hoodie that covered his dark hair, bandages wrapped around his hands with something sharp caught her eye from it. Rachel who seem to just stare at him, arms still wide open
"HEY! WHAT ARE DOING BREAKING IN MY BUILDING?! YOU WANNA DIE?!!" The man spoke with a groan and irritable voice and point a kitchen knife to Rachel
A thunder strike appear in the dark sky as it shone a glimpse of the man's face, he had black...and yellow? eyes glare towards Rachel, even his face was covered by bandages with a gritted teeth
Rachel just stare at him, because she never went outside before in her life, she never encounter any strangers but her family and a trustworthy maid
She's homeschooled from her maid, a caring and patient maid that has been with Rachel for as long as she could remember
"HEY!! WHAT YOU'RE STANDING THERE FOR?!! GET OUT OF MY BUILDING RIGHT NOW OR ELSE!" He snarled and starts to stomp towards Rachel who is confused with a dull face
She remember what her maid warned her before she ran away from home, to "beware of serial killer, mafia territory and street gangs, they will cause trouble for you so you have to run away from them" her maid soft voice echoed in her head
Rachel stare the man who pointed knife at her and caught her eye his hoodie at the bottom of the zip is stained with something red on it, blood?
