Zack and Rachel's weekend (part 5)

"Hey uh...have you seen a tall, mummy guy, he had his brown hood on with red long pants, running while laughing(?) into this direction?" Cathy asked politely as the passerby looked at her in confusion

"Um...no, sorry;;" the passerby hesitated, he turn his head and trotted away from Cathy

"Ah w-wait—" Cathy blurted but he ignored her and continues to walk, sigh this is going to be hard, and I bet it's already afternoon...

"Of course when you said such things people will thought that you're sputtering nonsense..." a voice came from behind Cathy's back, she turned around and Danny's face was closer to her's, staring at her, letting out a gentle smile "Hey Cat—"

"ARGH WHAT THE HECK?!" Cathy yelled, she raised her fist and made a hard blow to Danny's face, his glasses went flying to the patches of grass beside them

"Urgh!" Danny startled, he staggers back and falls down flat on the ground,....ouch man she's strong, and right on my swollen cheek too;;

"Urgh, why did you get so close to me like that?! Creep!" Cathy sputtered, she helped Danny to get up and crouch down to take his glasses from the grass "Seriously, how can you just pop out of nowher—"

"A-anyways, why are you telling the passerby where's Zack in that kind of description? Is he missing?" Danny questions, he dust off his lab coat and took his glasses from Cathy, ...don't interrupt me

"Okay first off, why not? He looks like one. And second, Rachel got kidnapped when we're in the mall and Zack just ran off without giving any clue for me to search him" Cathy explained

"Hold on, Rachel's been kidnapped?! How did that happened?" Danny gasped

"No idea, Zack's the one that brings her out into the crowd which might explains Rachel's kidnapped, and if I'm not there, he would've cause trouble already" Cathy scoffed

Danny fixes his glasses and look towards Cathy "Then, can I help—"

"No, aren't you supposed to be working right now? Why are you here anyways?" Cathy boomed, suspicious of Danny leaving out his job this early, she to glares at Danny intensely, ...oops didn't realize she noticed so fast...

"...it's..." Danny mumbled, still fixing his glasses as avoid glancing at Cathy, I can't tell her now...

"..? What is it?"

"...I'm just getting some fresh air, you know it's been rough for working these days, haha;;" Danny assured and tries to smile

Cathy gives another glare to him, Danny sweats as he tries to avoid looking at Cathy again, ...will she fall for that?

After glaring at Danny for a while, Cathy sighs as she rub her left arm, looking at the patches of grass beside her, ...maybe he's right

"......yeah, it's really been rough these days..." Cathy mumbles and looked down, she remembered her phone call with her director, heart sank the more she thinks about it...he'd never been so frustrated that he even fired me on the phone...

The more she thinks about it, she thought of how she work especially her co-workers, she's always been a burden to everyone and gritted her teeth ...I'm so stupid, I shouldn't blame them...they're right, I'm worth nothing there, I should just—

"You're alright? You're spacing out too long" Danny stared at Cathy with a worried face, she didn't notice him until he's getting closer to her again, ...w-what the?!

"C-can you stop getting too close to me?!" Cathy grumbled and shove Danny away

"Did something happened? Is it because of your job?" Danny ignored Cathy's persistence, he continues to question her and went closer too as Cathy steps back a bit "U-urgh, I'm fine..." Cathy mumbled, ...I'm having a moment, and yet this guy...
