The darkness surrounded me. It burned, like I had been thrown into a steel hardening furnace. Everything around me seemed to fall apart, only to flow back together, and repeat the cycle infinitely. I spent what felt like hours, floating around in the nothingness.

Bao's POV.

I heard his scream, his anger. I sensed his powers flare, his mind cracking under the rage and unnatural feeling of loss. It didn't take long, not long at all. Golden flames flew through the house, banishing all traces of Zolgas Darkness. The scream of pain that followed tore at my heart, and I watched as Zolga fell to her knees. Her eyes showed nothing but sadness, of a longing that had been there for a century. The flames erupting from {Y/N}'s body burned at her skin, but I seem the determination in her eyes.
"I
Will
Not
Lose."

Those words echoed across the hall, and her darkness spread, fighting at his light. She rose off her knees, her power fighting at his. It was almost beautiful, to watch heavenly flames eat away at hells darkness.
"You will bow, Zolga. You will leave." {Y/n} said, and he threw his hand outwards, a jet of flame flying forward. Zolga raised her hand, and the shadows rose to form a barrier. The flames slammed against it, and the heat spread throughout the building, catching the walls on fire. {Y/n} stared intensely at his enemy, the light flowing through his eyes, the strain visible in the way his veins showed. He let out a growl, throwing himself against the barrier, but he was rebutted, falling on his rear end.
"Mother. It is high time you left my home." I heard, and turned to see Lazari in demon state striding towards Zolga. Zolga's grin only widened, before the sound of static spread. A tall, suit wearing figure stepped forward, her posture angry as she threw her tentacles at the barrier, shattering it.
"This is my home sister. Do not expect to be able to take my family so easily." I watched as Slenda  began battling her own sisters darkness, before I let out a sigh. My daughter's, fighting each other, mother and daughter fighting each other. I stepped from the shadows, my tail lunging for zolga's heart.
The effect was immediate. The toxin that I had carried since the demons were made eeked into zolga's frame, her powers reducing as I waved my hand. Black armor appeared around my body, Egyptian in design as I let my original demonic form show.
Horns erupted from my forehead, my eyes turned blood red. My skin turned black, and my nails became claws. Every part of my body became covered in a course exoskeleton. I pulled my tail from her chest, and tears fell from my eyes.
"I should've done this a millennia ago, when I originally left the throne. I didn't have the heart to then. But I will not allow you to destroy my world."
I raised my hand, placing it over the poison in her chest as I pulled the powers out of her that I had given her, making her an immortal human.
"Zolga Faithslayer, I hereby banish you from the realm of immortals. Never again shall you know the feeling of demonic power, nor angelic power." I dropped my hand, and the earth shook. A black hole appeared behind her, the grins and eyes of all the mortals she had devoured appearing. Their arms reached out for her, dragging her towards the portal.
"Mother, no! Please! I just want you to come home! Mother! MOTHER!" She screamed at me, and I turned my back, walking away as I placed my hand on {Y/N}, the flames dieing as I forced him into unconsciousness. The portal closed with an audible pop, the rift between realms closing. The lights in the house all turned on at one time, and we began to tend to the wounded.
