(Chapter 9)Eric gave a small cough to gesture that it was time to go. "We have to leave, that is if you want to come back to my kingdom with me?" Ava replied, "Of course I do, but how are we going to get there, it'll take us a week at the most" the old lady kindly suggested that she could send them back in a matter of seconds. "Oh, can you, will you please, you would be helping us so much." She was trying not to sound as though she was taking advantage. The lady said, "Ok, hold on to each other tight, and close your eyes, then all you will feel is a strong gust of wind, when you cannot feel it anymore, then you can open your eyes." They did as she said, so the little woman blew towards them and Ava could feel her hair blowing, softly at first then wildly, as she felt this, she could also feel Eric holding her more tightly, whispering in her ear, "I love you." When they both opened their eyes they were stood outside of Eric's incredible kingdom. They were standing on a path of black slate facing a magnificent castle surrounded by blossom trees and luscious green fields. Ava looked all around her, and took in every single sight. They walked under the portcullis and stood before a stoned carriage roundabout in a beautifully kept courtyard. "Wow! This is the most incredible thing I have ever seen!" gasped Ava smiling up at her prince. Eric said to her, "This is my home; to me this is like my Enchanted forest." Together they walked through the great oak doors of the castle and into the great hall. There were paintings hung all around the walls, some of past kings and queens. It was a dark room, but right at the back were two thrones. Both of them were draped in a stunning blood red velvet material, embroidered with silver orchids. Eric led her to a library in which his parents were trying to think of where he may be. He quickly walked in with Ava still holding his hand. His mother screamed his name and asked where he had been. He told her to sit down and listen while he told the story of how he met Ava and what they had been through together. She walked up to her and gave Ava a hug, whispering, "Thank you for keeping my son safe." Ava looked at Eric and he mouthed that that was her way of giving her blessing. His father thanked her as well and asked if they were prepared for the life of a King and queen. They gave each other a reassuring look, and Ava said they were. The proud king shouted out, "Let's prepare for a wedding!"
