#9-Its one secret to another

Lexi and Jack had been dating for a month now. They couldn't keep the secret anymore, they needed to tell someone. They decided the best people to tell were Josh and Brighton. Lexi rung Josh.
Phone call
Lexi: Hey Josh, are you with Brighton
Josh: Yeah, why like, is something up
Lexi: Not really, just wondering if you both wanted to come over to Jacks place, we have something to tell you
Josh: Yeah of course, please don't say it's anything bad
Lexi: No no don't worry, it's good news this time
Josh: Okay, we will just get ready now, be there in 20, bye Lexi love you
Lexi: Love you too Josh
End of call.
Jack and Lexi waited nervously, what would their reaction be. Would they be happy for them? Would Josh be angry? Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Jack and Lexi both went to the door, it was Brighton and Josh. It was time to tell them.
Jack: 'Lets go sit down first, do you want anything'
Brighton&Josh: 'No thanks'
They all sat down.
Lexi: 'Do you want to tell them or should I?'
Jack: 'You can'
Lexi: 'Okay so I hope you aren't mad, but, me and Jack have been dating for a month now'
Josh: 'Wait, is this serious!?'
Jack: 'Yeah'
Josh grabbed them both and hugged them tight, then Brighton joined in. Josh quickly stood up.
Josh: 'Let's all go out somewhere, anywhere'
Brighton: 'What about the theme park'
Jack: 'Or the cinemas, let's have a vote, who wants to go to the theme park'
Only Brighton put her hand up.
Jack: 'And who wants to go to the cinemas'
Jack, Lexi and Josh all put their hand up.
Josh: 'Sorry babe, but the theme parks for our next date'
He kissed her on the cheek.
They quickly packed a backpack a sandwich, a bag of crisps, some sweets and a drink for each of them, as they would get to the cinemas around dinner time and the food there was too expensive. They all went in Josh's car, of course him and Brighton in the front, and Jack and Lexi in the back. When they got to the cinemas they all decided that they would go and see 'Game night'. They all sat down in the back row, Lexi was supposed to be on the end next to a random man but Jack swapped with her knowing she didn't like sitting next to strangers. So Jack was sat next to a random man and Lexi, Lexi next to Josh then Brighton on the other end next to Josh.

Brighton: 'That was so good, thank yous so much'
Jack: 'I really enjoyed it'
Lexi: 'Me too...'
She was interrupted by a phone call. She answered it.
Phone call
Caller: Hello, Lexi?
Lexi: Yes, whos this?
Caller: Thank goodness, it's your mother, I've been worried sick about you
Lexi: What the fuck do you want now, I hate you, you ruined my birthday, you ruined half of my life
Laura: Look, please just listen to me
Lexi: Fine, go on then
Laura: I've thought long and hard about it and, and I want to see you, explain everything to you
Lexi went silent
Laura: Please...
Lexi: Okay, we can meet, for you to explain, and then I will leave
Laura: Thank you, thank you so much, when's best for you
Lexi: Tomorrow, I cant wait any longer I need to find out
Laura: Okay, what's your address
Lexi: No, we will meet at Cindys Cafe at 1 o clock
Laura: Okay see you then, thank you
End phone call
They all hugged Lexi
Josh: 'Well done for being the bigger person Lexi, we will be right behind you all the way, I love you, we all love you'
Lexi: 'Thank you, I love you all too, will you come with me
Brighton: 'Of course'
Jack held her hand, it was shaking, he kissed her on the forehead and hugged her to comfort her.
