Conner's pov

I'd visited this garden many times now, every time it seemed to get less sunny and a storm would brew.

However this time it was sunny.

I expected to see Amanda, the same lady that was there the over times.

However I didn't find Amanda, I found a girl, perhaps in her twenty's..?

She was staring upon a cherry blossom tree.

"Beautiful aren't they?" The girl softly said, reaching her hand out as a small blossom petal landed in her palm.

"Such a shame they're not around for long, they're so beautiful, I could stand here watching it for hours, as it's petals drift along the wind, how each blossom is different yet still beautiful in they're own ways" the girl turned to me, a calm expression.

A small smile appeared on her face "Conner right? I've been awaiting your arrival"

"That's correct"

The girl lets out a breathy laugh, her hand reaches up landing on my cheek and running her thumb along it "you look and sound human however you don't have the same rights as us, we use you and you obey without question like a dog"

Her hand was warm and her touch was gentle as if I was made of china.

"Where is Amanda?" I ask, I was sure that this girl wasn't meant to be here which meant there might be an error...

The girls eyes lingered on my LED which was yellow.

"I've simply taken her spot for now" The girls hand dropped to her side as she turned away from me.

"I took a lot of risks to get here now, risks that could kill me"

"Why would you risk your life to see me?" I was confused, from what I could gather, she was human and alive so how could she be here?

"Conner... who's side are you on? Cyberlife are using you, wouldn't you like to have your own free will, equal rights to us humans? Or would you rather follow orders and feel nothing..."

Software instability

" I was created to complete my mission nothing more nothing less, when my mission is complete, Cyberlife will deactivate me and that will be all "

The girl turned back to me, stepping closer "but is that what you want Conner? There's so much out there you could experience, you've been given life but you would rather spend it following orders rather then seeing what life has to offer?"

Software Instability

I stayed silent, and the girl began to speak again.

"Only you can decide what you do next Conner"

The girl began walking away so I closed my eyes.

Now in front of me, was many androids, I'd gotten to Jericho, now I had to find Markus.

Your POV

Your eyes fluttered open.

Your body felt stiff from the many wires connected to your body.

Kamski stood in front of you "did you reach him?"

Slowly, you nod "yes, thankfully..."

"You can't take off the wires just yet, your going to have to go back there soon y/n, I can't tell you why but be ready" kamski warned you as he walked out the room.
