The red string of fate

A string that connects two people claimed to be soulmates.

"Some people find their soulmates at a young age, some don't find their soulmate till their older." Your teacher explained to all the young children in the classroom including you.

"Your the only one who can see your string"

"And No matter how sad this next phase is, it is nessacary to discuss as one of the students in our class... have this unique thing with their string, if your string is white..... your soulmate is dead" your teacher said straightforwardly.

You felt your classmates looking at you.

Yes.

Your string is white, your soulmate is dead.

Eijirou's pov

Today was the day of the red string so of course our teacher discussed it.

"Only you can see your string, no one else can see yours except their own, some find their soulmate at a young age, some wait till adulthood to find their soulmate but some can't. If your string is white I'm sorry to say but your soulmate is dead" my teacher said looking towards me as he said the last part.

My string was white, my soul mate is dead.

Your POV

Your 16 now.

People said that after a while if your string is white it will shrivel, but yours never did.

You thought maybe your soulmate is alive but people assured you "if your string isn't red your soulmate truly is dead I'm sorry" they'd say with sympathy.

You decided to stop focusing on your soulmate and focus on your future.

You wanted to be a hero so U.A was where you wanted to go.

Today it was the entrance exam you were bursting with excitement.

You awaited the gates to open, once they did your sprinted forward, you heard present mic yelling to everyone "IN A REAL BATTLE YOU ARENT TOLD TO GO YOU JUST GO!!!"

As you got in the area first you had a advantage, you destroyed a number of Robots in the first five minutes leaving you with 15 points.

While running towards the next robot, you turned a corner, a red haired boy ran past you and once you neared the robot you felt a tug on your string.

You turned around to look at what the cause of this was, you saw the red haired boy again before the robot started to attack you.

You jumped back landing on a plank of air before jumping forward, grabbing the air and throwing it at the robot with all your strength.

Eijirou's pov

A (h/c) girl ran past me as I turned the corner, I don't know why but I felt a weird feeling in my stomach.

As I continued to run I felt a tug on my string I turned around to see the girl looking towards me too until she continued to attack the robot.

I decided to go get more points, I already had quite a lot but more points won't hurt.
