"Wow, isn't that Celestia?"
"She's so pretty, I wish I could be her."
"Momma! Look at her!"
The memories played in my head over and over again. Everyone thinks being popular is awesome or cool, but, I'd rather not be popular. You get unwanted attention everywhere you go and hear strangers talk about you every day. You would get dirty messages on your social media, people make memes about you. You have to block people 24/7, and protect yourself from stalkers and kidnappers. You are always lonely even when you have the whole world know your name.
In my spare times, I read or watch stories about the king and queens era. I love the fantasized world written down on paper. I signed, "I wish I can be in that era instead of here. I have to fight off stalkers, block messages, take insults, and so much I wish not to do.
My phone started playing the ring tone. Must be my family calling me, "Hello?"
"Daughter! So good to speak to you again! How was the photo-shoot?"
"The same as usual."
"Great news my daughter! You have a marriage meeting with the son of the Skyes family tomorrow!"
"WHAT?!" I shouted into the phone, "I never agreed on this marriage meeting! I have another photo-shoot and a live concert tomorrow!"
"Move them to another day," my father said, "This marriage meeting decides our future! We will earn ten times more money if you marry him."
"Do YOU even care about my feelings about this?!" I felt my vision blurred and before I knew it, tears streamed down my cheeks.
"Yes, yes I do," my father replied, "If we earn more money, you can have more than what you have! You will be the happiest girl alive!"
"Will you stop being blinded by money?! I don't want to marry someone I don't love!" I sobbed. More stream of tears flow down my cheeks.
"You WILL go to the marriage meeting whether you like it or not," father shouted in an angry tone.
I threw my phone across the room, sliding down the wall sobbing, "I'm not a slave! Why?! Why does the gods and goddesses hate me so much?!"
I press my forehead on my knees, letting all of the emotion flow down my cheeks. My father is more like a boss to me than a father. He orders me around like an enslaved servant. Why did mother have to leave? Why doesn't anybody see my pain? Can't they see through my fake smiles? Or am I just some tool for encouragement? I'm a human too!
I heard a knock on my bedroom door, "Lady Celestia, the director of 'Renewed Love' wants to meet you tomorrow 11 in the morning."
"Lizzie, move everything for tomorrow to another day the directors' agree upon." I wiped my tears away. I looked in the mirror to see my eyes all puffy.
"Yes, Lady Celestia," I heard her footsteps echo down the hall.
I signed, if only I could live in one of my fantasies. I laid on my bed, as I pondered whether to go or not, my eyes felt heavy. I closed my eyes, darkness clouded my eyes and I fell asleep.
~*Ren's POV*~
"Over there!"
The lead guard pointed his katana at me, "Give me the Nirvana pill you stole from the king!"
I drew my Bandit's Dagger, backing up into a wall in the ally, "You've got no where to go you bandit! Get him!"
I turned back to them, cornered in the dark ally. Perfect, darkness is my specialty. I sped toward the darkness of the ally, but before I got there, guards jumped from over the wall surrounding me.
