[ 09 ] wing dog | kiba

"What the hell is that noise?" You asked yourself as you looked up from your book. You put your book down, then you stood up from you seat then started to look around. The noise sound like whining and faint scratching noise. The was definitely was coming from your front door.

You walked to your front door, then opened it. Before you knew it, you were tackled to the ground by your very special friend, Akamaru.

"Akamaru!" You giggled and smiled as he happily licked your face. "I missed you too, I missed you too, boy!" You giggled even more as you scratched him behind his ear.

After a few more moments, Akamaru had moved off you and you stood up from your feet. You dusted your clothes off, then looked out your door to see if the ninken was alone. He was.

"So, you snuck off again to come see me?" You chuckled as you closed your door.

Akamaru barked happily in response, making you smile even more. "You're so cute."

This was the fifth time that week that Akamaru had come to your house to see you. It actually made you very happy that he always came to see you, since you were so lonely by yourself.

"Well, come on then. I'll call Kiba and while we wait for him, maybe I could read to you. Sounds like a plan, huh?" You began walking back to where you were before Akamaru came.

You sat back down, then you grabbed your phone. You quickly dialed Kiba's number. The phone rang for a few moments, before Kiba answered the phone.

"Hello?" Kiba said.

"Hey Kiba." You chuckled.

"Is there something wrong, Y/N?"

"No, no, of course not. I was just calling you to tell you that Akamaru had come over again."

"Oh geez, sorry about that."

"It's no problem, there's actually nothing to be sorry about. I like his company and not to mention his energy." You smiled softly at Akamaru.

Kiba chuckled. "Well, I guess I'll be over in a few minutes to come and get him."

"Alright, you don't have to rush you can take your time. I've got him." You told Kiba, just after you said that Akamaru laid his head on your lap. You smiled softly at him, you then rubbed his head.

"Okay, I guess I'll see you in a few."

"Okay, then see you then." You said afterwards you hung up the phone. You put your cell phone beside you, then picked up your book.

"You're such a sweet boy, Akamaru." You told him just before you began reading aloud to him.

Twenty minutes had passed, before you heard a faint knock at your door. Akamaru's head perked up from your lap happily, he knew exactly who was at the door. You chuckled at Akamaru's enthusiasm.

You closed your book afterwards you stood up from the you sat on the couch. You and Akamaru started walking to the front door. When you got to the door, you and Akamaru were greeted with Kiba.

Once Akamaru had saw Kiba, he barked happily then jumped on him making Kiba smile even more than he was.

"Hey Akamaru!" Kiba smiled softly as he embraced the ninken. You smiled softly at them both.

"You guys are so cute." You cooed at them both. Kiba back at you.

"Oh, uh thanks for letting Akamaru stay over. I hope it wasn't any trouble." Kiba told you. You leaned on your door frame, coolly as you nodded your head at him.

"It was no problem, and it wasn't any trouble at all." He nodded his head at you, "Well, I guess we'll see you later-" Kiba was then interrupted by Akamaru nudging Kiba's leg.

"What is it, boy?" Akamaru barked in response to Kiba's question.

Akamaru barked once again. "Okay, okay I'll ask her. I'll ask her." Kiba nodded his head at Akamaru.

"Ask me what, Kiba?" You asked Kiba. Kiba shifted his attention to Akamaru to you.

"Uh, it's nothing, it's nothing." He shook his head at you. Akamaru nudged him again. You crossed your arms over your chest, then shook your head.

"Aw, come on tell me." You frowned at him.

"No, it's nothing." Kiba shook his head.

You frowned at him. "It's absolutely something, because Akamaru wants you to tell me too." Akamaru nudged Kiba again.

"Alright, I'll ask her this time." Kiba sighed softly.

"Uh, do you want to go out tonight? Maybe for something to eat?" As he spoke, a little taint of pinkness appeared on his cheeks.

You nodded your head at him. "Of course."

"Well, okay then. What time do you want to pick me up?"

"Uh, maybe in about two hours?"

"Yeah, that sounds good." You nodded your head at him.

"Wait, so did you send Akamaru over here all those times just so you could ask me out?" You cheekily questioned Kiba as you narrowed your eyes at him.

"Uh, um..." Kiba rubbing the back of his neck.

"So, basically he was like your wing man...? Wait, no your wing dog." You giggled. Kiba didn't reply, he just kept rubbing the back of his neck.

"Oh well, whatever. I guess, I'll just see you later then." You playfully rolled your eyes. You smiled softly then kissed his cheek.

After that, you walked back into your house you closed the door behind yourself.

"I did it, Akamaru!" Kiba exclaimed happily to Akamaru. Akamaru barked happily at Kiba.

"Alright, let's go home! I gotta get ready." Kiba rubbed Akamaru's fur.

Akamaru and Kiba then began to walking home together.
