Billie's POV
I told Joba to meet me in the quad under the tree next outside the library. I work on some homework while I sit on the square seats that wraps around the tree.

I look to see Joba coming from the opposite way he usually walks. He doesn't come from the building but comes out from the back doors of the office.

I hug him and take out my lunch snacking on a bag of chips, "You weren't in class?".

He reaches to grab some of my chips. He shakes his head. I frown. "Well thanks for saying goodbye yesterday".

"I did but you were sleeping. I gave you a kiss", he says sitting next to me.

I feel cheeks blush and I mouth "oh". He laughs at me. I didn't want to wake you. I didn't think the movie was that boring".

"Sorry. I was trying to watch it but I blame you. Your chest was comfortable and I felt warm. Also Did you go to Romil's? My mom told me she let you stay at our house but you didn't want to".

When she told me that I was surprised she would have even though of letting him. I wish he would have said yes. I'm kind of upset about it. Maybe he just wanted to ask me first. If he does ill make him stay with us. If he's comfortable of course.

"I know. It's not that I don't want to but I feel it'd be too soon for that. Maybe in a couple weeks. Romil said it's fine having me over and it would give us time to work on our music".

I understand but I frown again, "that's like a long drive to school and to my house".

Will I see less of Joba now? I don't want to. I feel the amount of time I spend with him isn't even enough.

"Yea I thought about that but it won't seem like it. You already have a lot on your plate. School first, remember?". Now my boyfriends starting to sound like mom. I roll my eyes at him and grunt. But I agree.

I forgot about that chem project Nick and I have. I haven't seen him around. He hasn't been coming to class but we were supposed to work on it after school today. My house because i can't bare the though of staying after school. No other place would be better because I wouldn't feel comfortable.

"You're right mom", I joke. "But what about you? Your not doing too good so maybe you should focus on you for a minute".

He frowns and sighs, "Yea. I'll get a tutor. Lets go". It mustn't be fun to mention you need a tutor before graduating. He is taking more classes than he should and simply because of that it's important he passes those classes this time.

Joba walks me to chem where I sit next Harrison. He seems better now.

"Can you come by my house after school. Nick and I are working on the project". I whisper.

"I can't stand that fact that the first time we hang out in a while, Nick is going to be there". He says.

"Ugh, I know. But you would be saving me". I say.

-

The doorbell rings and Nick comes in. Just him. No backpack, no textbook. Okay..

"You can sit on that sofa", I say bluntly. He sits and waits for me as I go back to my room.

I grab my laptop along with some paper and a pencil for both. I sit perpendicular to him on the other sofa. Matt is in his room working on music and if he knew Nick were here, lord knows how he would react. He only knows his name but not what he looks like.
