Morning. I was awoken by the sun's rays.

I sat straight up, there's a lot of work to do.

---

I entered my room, and saw Shendelzare wondering at the lamp. She must've been curious about that thing, and improper as it was, she looked cute.

But still, I still need to tread carefully. She's still feral like in the game.

"It's a lamp... in case you're wondering, Shendelzare."

Shendelzare looked at me with her bright, red eyes. "What does it do?"

I chuckled. "It just lights up. Like this." And I pulled the little string switch of the lamp.

Expecting her to be startled, she just watched. And I felt hungry...

"What was that sound?" Shendelzare suddenly perked up.

I scratched my head. "Nothing to worry, Shendelzare. I'm just hungry."

Heading out of the door, I smirked. "I'll be right back."

---

On my living room, Dragonus was sitting on the sofa, reading my textbook. I decided to throw a cereal box on my face before heading to him.

Dragonus shifted his gaze on me as I munched noisily. Quick breakfast for the virtual visitors, remember?

"What is that thing?"

I smiled at him. "Breakfast."

He shrugged. Meh, whatever, I love cereal.

Then suddenly, I noticed the book. "Well, damn me... I have an assignment on that subject."

---

That afternoon...

"... and then, they both died together." I said a bit sadly. Dragonus seem to be a bit confused, but I guess he gets the novel.

"But why did they decided to do it? Not the two person you're telling me, but the priest and his followers?" He asked.

I puffed. "Who knows? I didn't wrote this tragic novel."

Dragonus stared at me blankly, but later on, saw what I've been talking about. "I guess you have a point."

Welp, I need to check the servers...

---

"Damned technical supports! I can't play a match." I shouted as I saw the dreaded message again. I grabbed my two plushie and stared at it.

Then the monday came, I can't leave my house being pampered by my virtual mains...

Choosing the 'right' way, I turned at Shendelzare, who was still wondering at how I locked doors.

"Um, Shendelzare? I have a request... if you don't mind."

"What is it?"

"You know how to lock and unlock doors, right?"

She nodded.

"Well then. I can teach you how to take care of my house."

She flared. "What for? You're leaving this place?"

I was nervous... "Well, kind of."

Shendelzare looked down, then sighing for herself, she gave me a nod.

"If it's the only way to let this place survive, then I would uphold your promise."

I didn't expected her to agree, but at least no one can break my house. Not unless if those pesky snitches wanted some missiles from Shendelzare. And I wondered if those bright flashes of light could smash their head and chests like bullets.

"You do?" I asked dumbly.

And with an unthinkable reason, she smiled a bit.
