We were told to have quiz today kaya nandito ako ngayon sa room at nagfo-focus sa quiz namin.
Pagdating ni Ma'am Rosales, nagsimula na kami sa pagsusulit. Absent ngayon si Sky. And the scene yesterday still bother me. Tingin ko nga hindi ako makapag-focus ng mabuti dahil sa nangyari kahapon.
After the quiz, sumunod naman si Sir Ron. We did nothing naman kasi nga nagsulat lang kami 'tas tomorrow nalang daw ididiscuss saamin ni Sir. I spent the remaining time playing with my pen. Ugh! This day is going to be boring. Wala pa si Sky.
While I was busy playing with my pen, Sir Ron started calling our names for attendance. When Sky' s name was called, no one answered.
"Nathaniel Sky Jimenez" Sir Ron called. But no one answered except for one.
"Sir I think he will not make it today. May nangyari po kasing emergency sa bahay nila." sagot ni Kaylee.
Kaylee Jones is Sky's cousin. Pero hindi sila ganun ka-close. Pero what? Sky texted her?
That's different. Sky didn't texted me earlier kung makakapasok ba siya o hindi. Pero wala namang kaso saakin yun noh. She's the cousin anyway. Sadyang nabaguhan lang ako.
Few minutes passed, break time na. I decided na sa class nalang ako magdamag hanggang sa dumating yung isa pang teacher namin. Wala kasing magawa diyan sa labas. I'm not hungry pa naman. I opened my phone to deprive my boredom. Ako lang kasi ang natira.
While I was busy scrolling down on Facebook, I saw Blue's Post. He is Sky's big bro. As I said nga, I saw Blue's post. And it was posted 2 hours ago. The photo was taken at the beach? Huh? Pagkatapos ng nangyari kahapon sa kapatid niya? And then may caption pa na 'Grilled but still sexy' pffft. Grilled mo mukha mo.
Then I reacted 'haha'.
Hanggang ngayon, wala pa ring dumadating na student. Huh? 5 minutes lang eh time na.
I was about to go back to my bussiness when the speaker on the corner of the room squeaked.
"Calling the presence of Kaylee Jones. Please proceed to the Guidance Office." the speaker said. And repeated it again.
And why would Kaylee be called to enter that office? Nakakapagtaka naman kasi hindi naman mukhang basagulero ang isang 'yun.
And then I decided to get out of our room and pumunta nalang sa ground. Our room is located at the 3rd floor of a building.
And I started to feel something bad that makes me nervous. Bakit walang tao sa hallway? I was so engrossed sa paglalaro sa cellphone ko tapos hindi ko man lang napansin na wala na palang tao.
I ran through the stairs at nagmadaling pumunta sa grounds.
I was panting nang makatuntong ako dun. But my breathing became ragged when I heard a girl screaming.
I followed the screaming sound and it took me at the back of our building which is minsan lang daanan ng mga students.
My heart was beating fast dahil sa sigaw na iyon. And then it stopped.
When a 'bang' sound was heard, I immediatley covered my ear and ran sa fast as I could papunta pabalik sa loob ng buulding.
Oh, my god. Bakit may nagbabarilan sa loob ng campus?
But my question was forgotten when I heard another one.
May putok ng baril.
Nawala ang pagsigaw ng babae.
Does that mean–
I almost screamed nang may naramdaman akong humawak sa pulsuhan ko and pulled me closer.
I felt something hard. I can smell his fragrance. Hindi ko namalayan na umiiyak na pala ako.
"Ssh." he said. But that didn't stopped me from crying. I am still hearing the shots.
Ilang minuto na rin na ganun yung posisyon namin. I don't bother naman kasi nasa loob kami ng building.
I just want to feel safe. And him being around, I always feel safety surrounding me.

I woke up in a white room. I knew this room. Kasi always akong nandito. Sa School Clinic.
Hinanap ko siya but I didn't saw him inside this room. Bakit ko naman siya makikita dito? Bumukas yung pinto at pinakita nito si Ms. Kim.
"Oh, good thing at gising ka na." she said. She handed me a glass of water at tinanggap ko naman 'yun.
"How do you feel right now?" she asked me as I put the empty glass on the table. "I' m fine." I answered, smiling. But deep inside, my heart was still beating rapidly.
Nakita ko nanaman siya. But it really seems like it was true. Ano bang nangyayari saakin? This past few days kasi, I always had a dream about that guy.
Kaya ayun, napapadalas na ang pagpunta ko dito sa clinic kasi bigla nalang akong nahihimatay.
I don't know. I don't feel like I am living in a world that everything can happen. Hindi kasi ako naniniwala sa mga ganyang ganyang bagay.
But I didn't expected it to happen to me.
Pagkatapos kong magpahinga, Ms. Kim told me that pwede na akong bumalik sa class.
When I returned, everybody was busy copying our lessons written on the board.
It's like everything went normal. Na para bang walang nangyaring barilan kanina.
Naupo na lang ako at tinanong naman ako ni Ma'am Pen kung okay lang ba ako.
I just said yes and smiled at her.
I started writing our lessons while Ma'am Pen is telling us about our project that's to be passed by Monday.
And Tuesday ngayon.
Ngayon ko lang na-realize na I missed one subject today. Hindi ako nakapasok sa P.E. Class namin. 'Yun pa naman ang favorite ko.
When lunch came, I decided to go to cafeteria all alone. Wala kasi ako masyadong close dito sa school maliban nalang kina Ellis, Presley, Ashton, at Sky.
At dahil wala silang lahat dito, ako nalang mag-isa ang natira.
Pumila ako sa isa sa mga pila at naghintay.
Pagkakuha ko ng order ko, I started finding a free table nang may naramdaman akong may natapakan ako.
