Chapter 5

Ethan's Pov:

I switched of my car and checked my phone. I saw a message from Grayson.
Grayson: I hate being your twin brother. I thought brothers support each other.
I left his message as seen and got out of my car and walked inside. The house was silent which means everyone was asleep.

I walked to the kitchen and placed my bag on the couch, where I found Rosie sleeping.
"Rosie" I placed my hand on her shoulder. She didn't wake up. I sighed. I picked her up and carried her to the guest bedroom. I took off the bedsheets and placed her on the bed. I removed her shoes and then placed the bedsheets on her.

I closed the door and walked downstairs.

"Daddy" I heard Aurora whisper
"Aurora, what are you doing? It's 2:00am go back to sleep princess" I said.
"I don't want to sleep" she said crossing her arms.
"Why not?"
"Cause I'm not tired"
I picked her up. "Would you sleep if you sleep next to me tonight?"
"Yes" she said placing her hands around my neck.
I laughed and took her to my room.
"Daddy? Where are you going?" She said.
"Downstairs, your father haven't eaten anything today and he is really hungry" I said placing my hand on my stomach."Go back to sleep. I'll come sleep next to you after I eat."
She nodded and I went to the kitchen. After I ate,I went upstairs, changed my clothes and went to sleep next to Aurora.

Rosie's Pov:

I woke up and found myself in the guest bedroom, which I don't remember getting here. I got out of bed and went to Aurora's room but she wasn't there so I went to check if she was downstairs. I searched for her but she wasn't there too. My heart started pounding and went upstairs. I saw that Ethan's bedroom door was closed. I slowly opened the door and saw Aurora sleeping next to Ethan. Ethan's huge arms were wrapped around Aurora. It was the cutest thing ever. I slowly closed the door and went downstairs and made some Iced coffee.

"Good morning" Ethan said with a sleepy voice.
"Good morning, how was work yesterday? "I asked
"Don't even remind me, the project we're doing is really stressful. By the way I'm so sorry about what Grayson did yesterday." He said opening the fridge.
"Don't be,you didn't do anything.So there's nothing to be sorry about."
"Would you like some pancakes? "He said taking out the pan.
"I wouldn't say no." I giggled.
He nodded. He started cooking pancakes and I went upstairs to check on Aurora. She was still asleep so I went where Ethan was.
"Alright fresh strawberry pancakes are done" Ethan said handing me the plate full of pancakes.
"Are you up to something tonight?" Ethan asked.
"No not really, I was going to call my best friend to come to my place tonight"
"Oh, I thought maybe instead of eating here at home, I thought I would go eat from somewhere else and I thought maybe you'll come with us." He said sitting down.
"Yeah sure, it's not a problem for me." I said taking a bite from my pancakes.
"Oh yeah also, you can move here and come live here"

I almost chocked on my pancake.

"What?... oh no, I'm here to b-babysit not to live here 24/7"
"Hey, hey listen it's too much for you to drive here every single morning so might as well live here, plus this house is huge and it has plenty of rooms here. It's really not a problem for me."
"I'll think about it first cause I don't know it's too much, and I will tell you when I'll  decide."
"Have all the time you want. Now if you excuse me, I have to go to work cause it's getting late." He said running upstairs to get ready for work.
After a few minutes he came down to tell me he's leaving and left.

6:15pm

I called Emma to come over to Ethan's house so maybe she will help me take my decision on what Ethan offered.
"Sure I'll come over, but I don't have the address."
I sent her the address and she arrived 45 minutes later.
