Chapter Seven

Later That Night……………   There must have been a little over 200 people in my house. I looked at my mom, “This is HALF of the pack?!?!” My eyes were wide. “Yes, this is half I know it seems like much but it isn’t.” My mom walked into the room and everyone suddenly quieted down. “Good Evening everyone, I know it has been a while since we have had a pack meeting at my house but, you all know my daughter Meloney. She has found out yesterday that she was a shifter.” There were a few gasps thrown around and a few whooping. As soon as my mom spoke they hushed down again,

“She has accepted the fact, and she has finally met her mate.” She gestured for me and Andrew to come up with her. Everyone stared at me. “Some of you might know him or not. This is Andrew Johnson future Alpha of the RipTide pack. He is my daughter’s mate and future alpha of this pack.” Everyone started cheering. I began to speak, “I know that is has been a while since I was ten but I back and ready to get to remember everyone and be welcomed back.” Everyone cheered, “Welcome back, Meloney.”  

After the announcements, people came up to me greeting me. As I met everyone some memories came rushing back to me and I felt like they were all family. I was happy that my mom told me the truth. I loved everyone especially Andrew. I couldn’t wait till he turned Alpha. Later that night a strange wolf that I never met came up to me. “So, you’re the Meloney everyone has been talking about.” I looked at him confused. Suddenly he grabbed me and covered my mouth with his hand and pulled me away to a van. I don’t remember what happened next because I blacked out.  

I woke up and found myself sitting on a chair bolted to the floor, my hands tied behind my back, and my legs tied to the chair legs. I looked around and saw a guy standing in front of me about ten feet away. “So your finally awake, Meloney.”He had a deep voice. “Who are you? Where am I?” I was starting to freak out. “Sorry for the late introduction, I’m Blake your mate and future Alpha of your pack.” He gave a sinister smirk. That’s when it hit me; he was the rival pack that killed my father. “You’re not my mate, bastard. My mate is Andrew.” I sneered. He chuckled a little. “You think that little shit can beat me. Let’s see him try."

I tried not to laugh at him because i knew Andrew could kill him an instant if he wanted to. A smirk came across my face and he slapped me with the back of his hand. "What are you smiling at?" I tried to not let the tears come down. "Nothing." He untied my legs from the chair and pulled me into another. There i saw a bed with four straps on it. That's when i started screaming my lungs out. He looked at me eyes of lust. I knew what was going to happen. I felt dirty.

Andrew's POV 

I was looking for Meloney so we could have some alone time together but, i couldn't find her. So i mindlinked her, 'Meloney, sweetie where are you?' She didn't answer at all. That's when i got concerned i asked around to see if they had seen her but they hadn't. I ran to Ms. Adams. "Ms. Adams, I can't find Meloney anywhere and she won't answer me. Something is wrong!" I was like a nervous wreck. Then i felt a sting in on my cheek and that's when i got even more worked up.

Ms.Adams and a horror expression and shrieked. Everyone silenced to see what was wrong. She turned to the crowd, "Listen up everyone, my daughter has gone missing. You all know her scent. I'm putting her mate, Andrew in charge of the search. Andrew." I was astonished at what she said, but then got serious. "So we all know her scent. Last time she was seen was in the front of the house. If you get even a hint of her smell you come to me immediately. Understood." 

Everyone just nodded her head and then began the search for Meloney.
