You gulped down nervously as you tied a red headband around your head. Your school was having a sports festival and every classes were participating. Currently, you were standing in your lane as you waited for the gun to sound.
You shouldn't lose since points are gained after winning each event. The class with the highest score gets to travel to Japan for three days and two nights and everyone was hyped up for that.
"YOU CAN DO IT, MY PRINCESS!"
You blushed when you heard your boyfriend, Kim Taehyung, cheering for you with all his heart. However, it also gave you more determination to win. Fire sparked in your eyes and you sprinted when the judge marked the start.

As expected, you were the first to reach the end and that added more points to your class. Your class was still behind another class by a few points which was full of students from sports club.
Taehyung skipped towards you with a water bottle to quench your thirst. You thanked him and he hugged you despite how sweaty you were. You had been running for a lot of rounds and he would hug you even if you had lost a few, telling you that it was fine.
"Congratulations, my princess!"
"We are still lacking some points," you pouted and Taehyung cupped your face. He placed his forehead against yours and your face heated up, not only because of the run you had a while ago.
"It's alright," he grinned before being pulled away by his friend. He whined as he was being dragged away to their section. His friend nagged that they were still in school and PDA was not allowed.
The reason why you wanted to win was because Taehyung was really excited about the Japan trip. He had already planned things he wanted to do, where to go and what to buy. Even though, he said it was alright, you knew he would be really sad deep down in his heart if the class lost.
Also, you were part of the track and field club which made everything more competitive. It was not only a battle between classes but also the pride of the members of the sports club.
You glanced at the line up for the event and you had to compete again. You inhaled deeply before heading to your position again.

Taehyung had somehow managed to pop up by your side again. He massaged your shoulders as you remained seated on the chair. You had won the race but you were not allowed to continue since you ended up spraining your ankle.
You groaned in disappointment but thankfully, there was only one event left for your division and you somehow managed to lessen the point gap. Taehyung knelt down before you and looked up at you worriedly.
