Skylar's POV.
I look sadly through the Windows. The silence is deafening and suffocating like a thick piece of cloth pressed to my face until I can no longer breathe.
"I'm so sorry Diana, I couldn't control it." I finally break the silence.
"It's not your fault, we should have started earlier." She replys.
Few minutes later...
We land in Wayne manor's gardens. Again Diana takes my hand and lifts me out of the jet and we go inside. Diana follows me to the dining room. Bruce is there at the table sipping a cup of coffee and reading the newspaper.
"Morning Bruce." I say.
"Morning Skylar." Bruce says as his eyes drift over to our entrance. I walk into the kitchen grabbing a granola bar.
"Come out Diana." Diana comes out, her combat boots making light clicking noises.
"Nice to see you again bruce." Bruce stands up, making his way over to diana and he stops few inches away from her.
"Skylar, I suggest you leave as your already late, Alfred's been waiting." He says without looking at me still staring at diana.
"Okayy." I say before leaving.
I open the door sliding in beside Dick, still mad at him.
"Hey guys, what's up?"
"Took you long enough." Dami says and I ignore him.
"The clouds, the sun, should I continue" Tim says with an amused smile.
"Seriously Tim?." Jason says."King of the geeks." He whispers under his breath but I pick it up anyway.
"But for the king of geeks you're really cute." I say, punching his shoulder.
"Morning Alfred." Alfred looks in the rear view mirror, and starts the engine.
"Morning Mistress Skylar, how was your trip?"
"Great, but by the looks of it, I think i'm going to be going there more often. "Alfred begins to drive.
Few minutes later...
I walk through the schools doors to my locker. I'm getting my books when Sasha walks up to me.
"Hey Sasha, haven't seen you in a while." I smile at her.
"You haven't seen me in a while? It's more like I haven't seen you in a while. Where have you been sky?, are u avoiding me?"
"Calm down Sasha, I'm not avoiding you-"
"Then were have you been?"
"Ok, I was at Wayne manor... visiting my Dick." I lied.
"No way, you were at wayne manor? with Dick Grayson?"
She asked as she does a silent scream.
"Why didn't you come home?." She gives me a disbelieving look.
"You don't believe me?"
"Yes I do, but it still doesn't say why you've been missing for two days." She says.
"Yes it does, I just decided to stay and complete the project i had with him. Mr Wayne was kind enough to let me stay for two days."
"Ok fine, I trust you. See you in class." She leaves.
"Wow, you suck at lying." Knowing it's Tim I don't jump in fright.
"I know, let's just hope she bought it." I reply.
I grab my books and close my locker. Tim and I head to class. We have Biology, Professor Earl's class.
In Biology...
"We have a new student today class, her name Amarie..."
"Greene, Amarie Greene." She says as she filled his sentence for him. She has red hair and she's wearing red camisole and black denim geans. Whispers begin to fill the classroom about how hot and badass she is.
"Ok Amarie, tell us more about yourself."
"Well, I'm sixteen, single, I never knew my mom and my dad's.... gone, I live with a childhood friend " she says. The whole class
"Talk about silencer." I quietly whisper to Tim.
She takes her seat at the back of the class and professor Earl began the class.
"Can someone tell me how many chromosomes the human body has?" Tim puts up his hand to answer the question.
"The Human Body has forty six chromosomes." Tim replies.
Few more hours later...
The bell rings and it's time for lunch. I pick up my food and sit with Tim, Dick, Jason and Damian.
"What's up guys." I say. Out of the corner my eyes, I see dick staring at me his brown eyes pulling and wishing I would talk to him, forgive him but I'm not really ready for that. To forgive him that is, so I ignore him.
"S'cuse me." Dick says and leaves.
"How long are you too gonna be like this?, its annoying." Damian asks.
"You're annoying, and we're not like anything, I mean it's non of your businesses." I say before leaving to my next class.
I'm in my class waiting for lunch time to pass and class to begin.
"Hey" I look up and it's Sasha.
"Hey, look I'm sorry about-
"I know and I forgive you." She says sitting beside me."
"Were mom and dad worried about me." Referring to her parents.
"Na, they traveled to see him again. Just don't let it happen again."
I let out a sigh of relief and i hugged her.
Few minutes later...
Students pile into the class, miss Kyra in tow.
Few minutes later...
"To end this class, i'm going to pair everyone and you are going to work together on a projects."
"I've also paired everyone according to their strengths. To be submitted next week"
She begins to read out the name.
"Marisa with clair, john with amber, Richard with Britney, Skylar with Amarie(and so on.)
After a minutes...
The class has ended when Amarie walks up to me.
"So, we're partners."
"Yeah"
"How about we meet up after school to start." I remember that I have training lessons with Bruce so I decline.
"Uh I can't, I'll be busy but how about tomorrow."
"Sure" she replied and is about to leave when I interrupt.
"Hey if you need anything, you can ask me." I say trying to be nice.
"Sure" she says and leaves.

I'm sorry for not posting in like how many months cause I have this big exam for my year 9. I really have to study and that means not getting distracted. In other words I had to let go of my phone. Until 31st, I have my phone. That's the deal me and my dad made but I will truly try to update as much as possible between now and then. Bye.
