Sofie and Brad were getting ready for Eli's first birthday. They dressed her up in a cute, red dress. On the top of her head, she had a little white bow.

"Only the squad will be here and our parents?" Brad asked, walking into the kitchen.

"Yeah. Hopefuly, I can make Summer and Connor talk to each other in private. Maybe I'll lock them into our bedroom." Sofie said with a thoughtful expression.

"I don't think that's a good idea if they talk it out." Brad chuckled. Sofie joined in, continuing the cake she was making for her daughter.

"They need to talk it out, though." Sofie broke the silence after a few minutes.

"Yeah, I know." Brad nodded.

After a few hours, everyone came to the little party they made for Eloise.

The married couple greeted everyone, then walked back into the kitchen, preparing the meals.

"Hey!" they heard Connor's familiar voice.

"Hi." Sofie turned to him with a smile.

"Hey mate!" Brad shook his hand and grabbed a big plate, putting it on the table.

"Summer's here..." Connor sighed.

"I know. I invited her." Sofie smiled softly. "I want you two to talk."

"But how? She's avoiding me." Connor shook his head.

"I'll go and talk to her right now." Sofie nodded, walking out of the kitchen and right into the living room. She saw Eloise in Kirstie's lap and everyone was laughing at her.

"Sum." she said. Everyone looked up at her, but turned back to the baby. Summer got up from the couch and walked over to Sofie with a small smile.

"What's up?" Summer asked.

"Can I talk to you in private?" Sofie looked at Eloise who was playing with her toys. Summer nodded and they both walked into the bedroom, sitting down on the bed.

"You have to talk to Con. It's hard for him too." Sofie looked deeply in Summer's eyes.

"I know." Summer nodded, looking down at her hands in her lap.

"You love him. You can't push him away. He's the one for you."

"How do you know? Maybe if we start dating again, he'll dump me after a few months." Summer shook her head.

"That's not what I see in his eyes when he looks at you."

"Then what do you see?"

"The endless loving." Sofie smiled softly at her best friend, who just sighed.

"And I saw how he acts around babies the other day." Sofie continued.

"How?" Summer furrowed her eyebrows.

"He's a natural." Sofie whispered with a grin. "I can see you two having a little family in a year or so. You just have to stop being dumb and talk to him."

"Oh, thank you." Summer rolled her eyes.

"You want me to push you down the stairs, right in front of Connor?" Sofie asked, chuckling.

"Hell no, I'm out." Summer quickly stood up, walking downstairs and searching for Connor.

Meanwhile, Brad was in the living room with the others, talking and laughing. He eventually got up on his feet and walked upstairs when he saw Summer was downstairs. He entered the bedroom, seeing Sofie on her phone.

"Put that down." Brad took her phone out of her hands.

"Hey!" Sofie stood up. "Give it back!" she tried to reach for her phone, but Brad was too tall for her.

"Give me a kiss and I'll give it back." Brad smirked.

"No!"

"Then, you won't get your phone back." Brad shook his head, a smirk still playing on his lips.

"You want me to kick you in the balls?" Sofie furrowed her eyebrows.

"You wouldn't do that." Brad shook his head. "I want my kiss and you'll get it back."

"Fine, whatever." Sofie rolled her eyes, giving Brad a kiss. She pulled away, but Brad grabbed her waist, pulling her closer for a passionate kiss. He slipped her phone into her back pocket and smirked at her.

"Jerk." Sofie walked out of the room, leaving Brad with a big grin on his face.

When everyone was in the dining room, they started singing for Eli, which made the little girl smile. Sofie helped her blow out the candle on her cake and cut it, giving a piece to everyone.

Sofie walked over to Summer while Brad to Connor.

"Did you talk to him?" Sofie asked.

"Yeah." Summer nodded, taking a bite from her slice of cake. "This is so good."

"Thank you." Sofie smiled proudly. "So, how did it go?"

"Pretty well. I told him how I felt and he promised me he'll try his best to make it up and change the fact that we barely see each other."

"See, I told you!" Sofie smirked.

"No, you didn't." Summer shook her head.

"I did internally, okay? Shut up." Sofie rolled her eyes, walking back to her parents and feeding Eloise with cake.
