The wizard yelled in pain, as needle-looking things sliced through his skin.
The Squidward guy turned around, to see my dad standing behind him, with his repulsors ready to fire.
"Your powers are inconsequential compared to mine," the alien spoke, flicking his fingers, and two heavy objects starting floating.
"Yeah, but the kid's seen more movies."
My dad shot a part in the wall, and the gravity mine pulled the alien into space.
The wizard went with him, and I ran to catch him before he flew out too.
I jumped and body checked him, so we a coloumn and landed on the ground.
I groaned, clutching my side.
"Hey we haven't officially met," Peter said, holding his hand out to the red cloak. "Cool," He panted, as it flew off towards the wizard.
"We've gotta turn this ship around," the wizard said to my dad, standing up as the cape thing wrapped back around him.
I stood up, grabbing Peter's hand to help me.
"Yeah, now he wants to run," my dad chuckled. "Great."
"I want to protect the stone."
"And I want you to thank us now, go ahead I'm listening."
"For what, nearly blasting me to space?"
"Who just saved your magically ass? The kids and I."
"I seriously don't know how you fit your head into that helmet," The wizard shook his head.
They were now both standing in the control panel, so Peter and I followed behind.
"Admit it, you should've ducked out when I told you to, I tried to bench you, you refused."
"Unlike everyone else in your life, I don't work for you."
"And due to that fact we're now on a flying donut, billions of miles from Earth with no backup."
"We're backup," Peter stepped in, raising his hand.
"No, you're both stowaways, the adults are talking."
"I'm sorry, I'm confused with the relationships here, what he is, your ward? And her?"
"No," Pete interrupted. "I'm Peter by the way," He held out his hand again, only to be rejected.
"Doctor Strange."
"Oh we're using our made up names, um...I'm Spider-Man then."
Doctor Strange looked at him, for a moment, then turned to me.
"And you are?"
"Y/N," I smiled.
The doctor nodded, and walked over to my dad.
"Made up names?" I laughed at Peter quietly.
"Shut up," he blushed.
"This ship is self correcting it's course. The thing's on auto pilot."
"Can we control it? Fly us home?"
My dad paused for a moment, thinking.
"Stark."
"Yeah?"
"Can you get us home?"
"Yeah I heard you. Look, I'm not so sure we should."
"Under no circumstances can we bring the time stone to Thanos. I don't think you quite understand what's at stake here."
"What? No. It's you, that doesn't understand that Thanos has been inside my head for six years, since he sent an army to New York and now he's back! And I don't know what to do. You saw, what they did, and what they can do. At least this way they're not expecting it. So I say, we take the fight to him. Doctor, do you concur?"
"Alright Stark, We go to him. But you have to understand. If it comes to saving you, or the kids, or the time stone, I will not hesitate to let you all die. I can't. Because the universe depends on it."
My dad looked over to us, and I nodded my head.
"We'll do whatever it takes, doc. Dad, it'd ok."
"Nice. Good, moral compass," He said, letting out a shaky breath. He walked over to us, crossing his arms. "Alright kids, you're avengers now."
My dad patted our shoulders. looking worn out. I could tell he was very mentally drained. He walked away, leaving both Peter and I speechless.
"Hey, Pete."
"Yeah?"
"Look, if it comes down to the point where this Thanos guy...kills me, or if I die-"
"No, no I won't let that happen."
"Peter," I sighed.
"No, Y/N," he whispered, placing his hands on the side of my face gently.
"Promise me you won't get yourself killed, and make sure my dad is ok."
"I can't do that," He shook his head. "You're not going to die."
"Any one of us can. And I promise that I'll look after May and make sure she's alright."
"She will be. Because I won't leave you. I can't promise that...but I'm going to try really hard to keep you safe, ok?"
"Please," I begged, putting my hands on his forearms. "Just promise me.
Peter looked at me, and took a few deep breaths.
"Ok, ok, I will."
"Thank you," I smiled. I hugged him, rubbing his back softly. "Let's go, we should see what's happening.
We walked over to where Doctor Strange and my dad were, and looked out the big window.
"Wow," I muttered.
"Hey what's going on?" Peter asked.
"I think we're here," Doctor said.
"I don't think this rig has a self park control. Peter, get your hand inside this steering gimbo, and close those around it. Y/N, hold onto something please. Peter, understand? This is meant for one big guy."
"Yeah, I-I got it."
"We've gotta move at the same time."
"Ok, ok, ready."
We started moving faster towards the surface, and my dad and Peter started yelling at each other, trying to steer.
"We might, uh, want to urn. Turn! Turn!" Pete called, his helmet/mask closing over his face, and mine did the same.
We hit something, and parts of the ship broke off. Doctor Strange used a spell as a shield, and I held on tighter to a part of the column.
As we hit the ground, the whole ship started shaking and I flew forward into Strange's shield thing.
"Let me just say, if aliens windup implanting eggs in my chest and I eat one of you, I'm sorry," Peter said, while dangling by a web from the ceiling.
"I do not want another single pop culture reference out of you for the rest of the time, you understand?"
I laughed, and got up from the pile of dust that was surrounding me.
"I'm trying to say that something is coming."
I saw a metal ball roll in between all of use, and figured it was some kind of bomb.
"Everybody down!" I yelled.
