*Cece's POV*

I walked into school Monday morning. I had called Ryan, told him I'm out of the band.

I shut my locker and started walking to class, on my way I past Josh. We made eye contact and both of our eyes filled with tears.

"I-I'll be right back," he said to Seth as he ran off. I didn't know where he was going, but I told myself I didn't care anyway as I ran to the bathroom.

I was late for class because of my "bathroom break."

"Cece, so glad you could join us." The teacher, Mr. Jones said. I apologized.

"I'll let it slide this time Ms. Green, only because it's only the third week of school."

"Thank you sir."

"Now sit down."

I looked around, the only seat open was one next to a boy with black flippy hair, which had light blue tips. I sat down.

After class I walked up to him. "Hi, I'm Cece."

He looked around. "Wait are you talking to me?"

I giggled a little. "Yeah."

"Oh well hi. I'm Alex." We shook hands. "I moved here just in time for school."

"I've lived here all my life."

"That sucks, right?"

"Last year was good...until Saturday night"

"Why what happened?" He looked concerned.

"Can we please not talk about it?" I asked, tears pricking in my eyes.

"Of course. Do you need a hug?"

"No, I'll cry if I get one," I said, laughing a little. "So you need people to sit with at lunch?"

"Uh...yeah. I've been a loner lately," he said chuckling.

"Sit with my friend, Tegan, and I."

"What about those guys? Your boyfriend?"

"I don't wanna talk about it," I stated I looked down as a tear fell.

"I'm sorry."

"No, no. It's okay" I said.

"Then look at me." I shook my head. He put two fingers under my chin and gently lifted my head. "Oh Cece, sweetie no don't cry," he said as he grabbed my arm and gently pulled me into an empty class room. He pulled me into a hug. I let tears fall. "Shhh it's okay, let it out. Let it out."

*Josh's POV*

I watched her talk to that guy as I scowled. When he pulled her into an empty classroom I followed and looked into the window, like the day I found out Blake was hitting her. My nails dug into the palms of my hands as he hugged her.
