He made his 'thinking' face. "Don't I owe you something?" I raised an eyebrow. He grabbed my waist and pulled me close, a smile on his face. "7 years to practice for this moment," he whispered. My heart sped up to a rate that was unnatural and dangerous. I closed my eyes as our lips met in a sweet, gentle kiss. He must've practice really hard. I pulled away unsure of what was happening. "7 years to prolong this feeling," I whispered. He chuckled to himself and let me go.
"So what do you want to do? I cleared my schedule just for you." It was just like him to act like what just happened didn't. I let it go. Bringing it back up would be awkward and embarrassing. I scratched the side of my head. "Uh? I don't know. What do you usually do?" He shoved his hands in his sweats pockets. "Run for a while and then sleep. I've been training for a marathon next month. Its good to take a break sometimes though." I glanced down at my black duffle bag and back at the slender boy in the door. "Can I take a shower? Airport doesn't smell good on me." He pointed to a door I assumed at first glance was a closet and turned to leave. "Think about it." I grabbed my bags and turned to the dresser in front of me. I organized my clothes but left out what I planned to wear. Colorado summer. The best kind of summer. There was always a breeze blowing through so it was pleasant.
