I get home and I see my mom on the couch.
I walk over to her slowly and stop.

"Hey to you too. Why you just staring?! You didn't wash those dishes like I told you to last night keep playing with me." I lowered my head. "Helllo? Im talking to myself? What's wrong with you?"

I know she doesnt mean any harm this is how she always talks .

"Mom."

"Mama.." I started tearing up still looking down. She stood up.

"Dhalia did something happen to you? Let me call Pat who touched my baby?! Ouu im about to go to jaill! Go get my gun, wheres my purse-"

"No ma, I'm pr-." I stuttered as I looked at her , my eyes leaking with tears. "I'm pregnant."

"What the hell did you just say?!"

"I'm pregnant.."I cry out.

"Dhalia .. What?? I almost slapped the helll out of you just now!! Are you serious!!!?" She paced. "Are you serious??"

"I'm sorry." I wheeped.

"Oh you sorryyy? You wasn't sorry when you were out there being grown! So you grown now ? Fuck me and my rules ? You just dont give a fuck do you?!"

"I do care , I didn't mean for this to happen!"

"What did I tell you, I didn't want this for you Dhalia." She teared up and sat down. "You're not supposed to be like me. You know how this makes me feel?? I've failed you as a mother." I just stood there.

"No It's my fault mama. I'm sorry I didn't listen to you and now I'm-I'm .. I'm sorry." I cried.

"Not my baby Lord No Not mine." She cried into her hands. I couldn't say anything else. I felt so bad I just stood there crying. She soon pulled me into her and I fell into her chest crying. "Not my babyyyy. You knew better." She cried.

We sat there sobbing for awhile. She dried her eyes and told me stand up and I did.

"I know I'm hard on you but this is exactly the type of bullshit i was trying to prevent! I give you space and let you go out and this is what you do?"I just looked at her. "I love you and I will always be here with you no matter but I just want you to know I'm very fucking disappointed in you. I expected better." I started to cry again. "Come on were going to this boy's house, Does he know ?!"

"Noooo Mama I was going to tell him later." I sniffed.

"We're going now."

"Mama please no. I can't"

"Dhalia now is not the time." she looked at me. "Let's go." She grabbed her keys and we headed out.

"Heyyyyy, What you two cats doing here?." Lavar smiled opened the door. He then examined our faces. "Is everything okay ?  Come on in ."

"Thank you Lavar may we have a seat?"  Mom asked.

"Sure go ahead." He sits as we do. "Tina get in here girl." She comes in and sits with us.
