Turn Out Their Lights

Once Matty drove Robyn to A & E, he stayed with her. Robyn wanted him to stay but she wasn't going to say that. Her ankle had swelled up pretty badly and was a weird blue-black colour and she couldn't walk on it. She needed the strong drugs to help with the pain. Matty stayed though and that helped. 

Robyn was now currently sitting on a hostipal bed with an IV drip in and Matty sitting in the chair beside the bed. He said he was staying and Robyn was thankful. She still had to go for an X-ray to make sure nothing was broken. She had also messaged Eswyn to tell her the date ended in a trip to A & E. Not how Robyn wanted the date to end but most people don't get what they ask for but this was fine. No it wasn't but Robyn was trying to make the most of this situtaion.

A nurse walked over to where Robyn was laying and her name was Jordanne. "Jordanne?" Robyn's mouth worked before her brain did and that name resulted in Matty giving Robyn a curious look. He would need to be caught up but he knew most of the story. 

The nurse, Jordanne, looked up at Robyn and smiled. "The one and only but X-ray is ready and you can got there now and your boyfriend has to wait out here, sorry," She said. Matty was not her boyfriend. Nice to know that Jordanne was back but Matty was not with Robyn and vise versa. They've only been on one date and it ended in a trip to A & E. This is not how dates are meant to end. 

After Robyn's X-ray, Matty was still sitting in the chair and they talked for a while before the doctor came to them and said that Robyn didn't do any bone damage but she did twist it horrible and shouldn't walk on it at all and she should come back in four weeks to see how it healed. She got a brace put on it and she wasn't allowed to walk on it but she knew that she would break that rule in two days.

The drive back to her place with Matty was filled with them talking and trying to plan a make-up date because this one ended with someone getting injured. Robyn would love to go on another date with Matty again and if they did go on another date, there should be no hills involved.

Matty pulled up in front of Robyn's apartment building, and he said, "I'm sorry about the date and if you need anything, call him, I'm willing to help," He then gave her a kiss on the cheek and Robyn would have went read if she could. She managed to get up to her apartment and then she just laid on the lounge and called Jordanne and Ewsyn.

Her friends offered no advice on the whole Matty verse Oli thing but Jordanne offered medical advice and Eswyn said that she should call in sick, so she can rest up her foot. Robyn would call in sick in the morning but until then she was going to sleep.
