How could you not hear the screams?
When you walked right past crushing my dreams.
How could you still pretend that you care?
When you didn't even bother to ask how was I holding up there?
How could you be certain about me not trying?
When you presumably discarded my efforts while unheedingly lying.
And yet you looked in the eyes with a gesture seemingly subtle,
Don't know how,
The vibe fainted with the precarious you in realm of my mettle.
