Chapter 4

Holy crap....

"HELLO,HUMAN! I AM THE MAGNIFICENT BLUEBERRY! I BELIEVE WE HAD TEXTED EACH OTHER YESTERDAY, RIGHT?"

You leaned over to Stretch and said in a awed voice,"Can I keep him?"

Stretch shook a little in silent laughter. The cute little ball of energy ran up to you and hugged you. "IT IS VERY NICE TO MEET YOU,MISS (Y/N)!"

Cheese 'n rice, he had stars in his eyes. You squealed and hugged him back. "Why are you so cute!?!?"

Blue struggled in your grip. "MWEH, I AM NOT CUTE,HUMAN! I AM TOUGH AND MANLY!"

This was not helping in his case, as you just hugged him tighter, and Stretch's silent snickering turned into chuckles.

After your little 'attack' on Blueberry, Stretch invited you inside for lunch before the party.
Blue had wanted somebody to try out his tacos beforehand, and you were more than happy to oblige.

As you sat on the lumpy green couch, waiting for Blue to get finished in the kitchen, Stretch started asking you about your hobbies.

"so (Y/N), what kinda video games do you like?" Was one of his questions. You then proceeded to tell him about your adventures in Skyrim.

"...And if you can believe it,this guy comes after with me with a freakin' mace. I mean come on people! It was just a darn chicken!"

He laughed at your dismay,ruffling your hair. "Heh, and I'm guessing you were too chicken to fight back?"

You snorted and fell onto his lap, not noticing his blush as you did so. "Hey, I'm in no way a chicken! I just didn't want to get on the towns bad side!"

"phhht, well, it already sounds like you were already on his bad side." He snickered.

You were laughing right along with him. It was so nice to have a friend to laugh with after so long.

"OKAY! LUNCH IS... Ready?"Blue looked very surprised for some reason. Then you realized your head was still in Stretch's lap. You leaped up and said,"Thank goodness! I'm starving!"

As you walked into the kitchen,the smell of fresh tacos made you drool.
Blue and Stretch walked in shortly after.

"Blue,these look amazing! How are you not working at a five-star restaurant or something!" You exclaimed. A cyan blush blossomed on Blue's face as he grinned and 'mweh-heh-heh-ed'

After you had all gotten seated, you finally took a huge bite out of your scrumptious-looking taco.

Holy cow.

"Mmmm! It tastes even better than it looks! How is that possible!" You were sure if you were magic, your eyes would be stars.

"MWEH-HEH-HEH! I AM VERY GLAD YOU LIKE THEM (Y/N)!" Blue cheered. Stretch was looking at his brother with a sort of pride.

After that you practically devoured the rest of your taco. It tasted sooo good!

After you all ate, you were all ready to go. "How are we going to get there? It'll be dark by the time we get there if we take the car." You said. Stretch chuckled and lit a new cigarette.

"shortcut." He explained. I,however, was still confused. Blue grabbed Stretch's hand and said, "WE'LL TELL YOU-WELL,STRETCH WILL TELL YOU-ALL ABOUT IT WHEN WE GET THERE. NOW COME ON! WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!"

Stretch lightly grabbed your hand and said, "it'd probably be a good idea to close your eyes, doll."

You were still very confused,but obeyed and shut your eyes. Then,for a split second,you felt like you were floating.

'woah,what the...?' You thought,and grabbed Stretch's hand tighter.

Then,you were back on solid ground. You opened your eyes and were immediately disoriented.

"W-whoa..." You leaned onto Stretch,head spinning. He chuckled and supported your weight."easy there, hon." You looked around and saw that you were in a park filled with mostly monsters, with a few human children and there parents scattered about.

"W-what was that?" You gasped. You had never been more confused in your entire life. When it clicked your confusion quickly morphed into amazement. "YOU CAN TELEPORT?!" You yelled excitedly. He chuckled once again and ruffled your hair. "eh, i like to call it shortcutting,but yeah."

You then proceeded to glomp him and yelled out, "YOU ARE SO COOOL!"

"IT IS NOT THAT COOL ONCE YOU GET USED TO IT HUMAN. IN FACT I FIND IT RATHER LAZY." Blue huffed, but you didn't care.

"Hey guys! Welcome to the party!"
A new voice announced. You let go of Stretch and turned around. Standing in front of you was a child clad in a yellow and green striped sweater.

"Oh, hello!" They exclaim, just then noticing you. You wave sheepishly as they then gasp, running up to you. "Your Siren Starvoice! Holy cow, it's so awesome to finally meet you!" You giggle at how adorable they are, their brown eyes gleaming in excitement.

"yup, she's a good friend of mine, so i thought you'd might like it if she was invited." Stretch said. The little brunette grinned and grabbed your hand.

"Come on! You have got to meet my parents!"

You looked back at Stretch helplessly as you were dragged by the abnormally strong child. He shrugged and waved, his shoulders shaking in laughter.

You chuckled to yourself and followed them swiftly. 'What have you gotten yourself into this time, (Y/N)?'
