Yein has been missing Dongyeol a lot. She knows he probably already moves on from her, looking at how intimate his picture with the unknown girl. It would be a lie if Yein said she didn't feel wounded by it but then she claimed no right to stop Dongyeol from un-liking her. If he ever did it, then it's the sign for Yein to move on.
After Jungwoo briefed them, he's going to remedy his problems by himself; Yein was actually felt betrayed with it since they came here to resolve it together. Not alone. If he was going to meet Suji by himself, then why did the others came along with him at the first point?
Sigh. She didn't even want to talk on how the couple in the vacation sore her eyes. Yes, she understood Moonbin and Eunbi just met each other back and they had a lot to catch up but then... please realized that there's someone single around them! They treated Yein like she didn't exist as soon as Jungwoo vacated the room.
That's how Yein ended up in the middle of the park she had never gone to. She was wholly unfamiliar with the places except for the fact she saw it in one of the Korean drama titled Goblin. At the very least, she, however, could identify her way for now.
Something charmed her eyes when she saw the kids who were walking beside her had an ice-cream in his hand. She was so close to snatch it from him but quickly shove the thoughts away when she could have been called as a thief. Yein looked around and could find the ice-cream vendor in no time.
She approached it and as soon as she reached it, her mind wandered around, trying to think on how she should communicate with the middle-aged man who was currently waiting for her order, "Ugh, give me one cookie and cream ice-cream," Her fingers fulfilled a big role in this situation.
The latter paid for the ice-cream and excitedly walked away with the cone in her hand, not until she didn't watch her step, fating her to bump into someone and made the cone fell onto the ground miserably, "My ice-cream," She looked at the splattered liquid on the ground with her eyes were so close to form tears.
"You're a Korean?" A familiar voice managed to divert her attention. Yein's face who was primarily covered by her long, wavy hair, slowly elevated up to perceive the one she has been wanting to see the most right in front of her, "Y--Yein, what are you doing here?" The boy too stunned to regard the girl here.
Yein could state nothing but stared right into his eyes, wondering on how much he changed throughout the two years. She thought it was an extremely short span of time, not until he's here in front of her. He looked different. He had become more mature and the smile used to be on his lips, none of it were seen anymore.
Dongyeol has completely changed.
"I---I," Yein didn't know on what kind of reaction she should execute him. She couldn't just say that they come here to reconcile with them, knowing that Jungwoo may not clear up his problems with Suji. She absolutely didn't want to make things complicated. It's enough with the two years of suffering. She didn't need any of it anymore, "I'm sorry."
The latter bowed towards the boy before fleeing him behind dumbfounded. It would be a lie if Yein didn't wish for the boy to halt her from going. Like please hold onto her. Just for once, do what you supposed to do the last two years. Just... please, "Jung Yein."
A slight smile appeared on her face as she rotated her body around but the next thing she witnessed wasn't something she would like to see, "Lee Dongyeol, I told you to wait at Starbucks," The girl secured her arms winded around Dongyeol.
They... were really together. The only words could come out of Yein's mind at the moment. Her heart breaks into pieces; she could virtually discern it as her heart thumped faster as if it wants to jump out from the ribcage. It's hurt...
