In no time the morning of the sports festival arrived... why couldn't high school classes ended that fast.

Mom and Kei waited for me by the door, both happy and energetic about today more than me, I walked near and put on my shoes.

"Good luck big sis I'm rooting for you alone!" Kei yelled with a cheesy grin plastered on his face. I stood up near him a patted his head.

"You better root for only me or else there will he no cake." I joked and he pouted making me say sorry since he's to cute and we all laughed.

"But I wanted to cheer for Todoroki too." I giggled.

"You can little cute human." I gave him a grin and he mirrored it. "Alright I'm going." I said then quickly gave Kei a hug and left the house.

When I was near the school I heard my name being called from behind and turned around to see Ochako, Midoriya and Iida. I stopped and waited for the trio to reach which wasn't long since Ochako pulled them.

"(Y/n) are you excited?" She yelled, I smiled and nodded then the four of us continued walking to the waiting room for first years 1A.

"Man... I wanted to wear my costume." Ashido complained.

"To keep everything fair, we can't." Fluffy Tail explained.

I was in my own world until Iida-kun opened the door asking if everyone is ready and how we'll be entering soon.

"Midoriya." We all heard someone say and turned our heads.

"Todoroki? What is it?"

"Looking at things objectively, I think I'm stronger than you." I mentally facepalmed.

"Y-yeah." Midoriya said.

"But... All Might has his eye on you, doesn't he? I'm not trying to pry about that, but I'm going to beat you."

"Hey, hey, hey!." Kirishma tried to stop whatever fight may happen.

I sigh and got up and watched toward Shouto giving Midoriya a pat on the head then I gave Shouto a glare before passing him but someone grabbed my wrist and that someone being Shouto.

"I'm also going to defeat you to (Y/n), no one will stand above me." The classroom gasped in shook for some reason. I turned to look at Shouto.

"Well then best of luck Shouto," the class gasped again. "You too Midoriya."

Midoriya went red and embarassed but nodded in the end, I smiled and turned back to face Todoroki.

"After all we are all just classmates to you right Shouto~ nothing more." He looked at me with his shoulders stiff.

"Whatever you're trying to do (Y/n)," the class looked at each other. "It's not gonna work."

"And who said I was planning anything dear Shouto." I may have pissed him off.

"And why should I believe the words of and child whose parents are villians."

I stood there looking up at him a bit shook and gloomy for a second but quickly plastered a smile on my face.

"Well it's your choice to believe what I say after all." was all I said before walking towards the door but got stopped by Midoriya yelling my name.

"T-thanks (L/n)-san." I nodded and walked out the door without a word.

"Hey! Pay attention, audience! Swarm, mass media! This year's high school rodeo of adolescene that you all love, the U.A sports festival, is about to begin! Everybody are you ready?! It's time for the students to enter the first year stage! " I heard Present Mic announcing.

With that all of 1A came out of the tunnel and walked to the centre, followed by the other other hero course class 1B, General Studies classes C, D and E, Support course classes F, G and H and business course classes, I, J and K.

"Time for the player pledge!"

"What is Ms. Midnight wearing?" Kirishima questioned while blushing.

"That's an R-Rated hero for ya." Other mumbled.

"Quiet everyone!" Midnight yelled quieting all first years. "Representing the students is Katsuki Bakugo from Class 1A!

"What? Kacchan?" Midoriya said in disbelief.

"Well he did finish first in the entrance exam." Sero said.

We heard a girl sigh and looked her direction "In the Hero course... Stupid." She muttered the last part but we all heard.

"Probably talking about yourself Miss. Grump." I said inbetween Denki and Sero and they snickered.

As Bakago stood on top infront the mic, we all looked at him waiting for it though I bet all of 1A knew what is was going to be.

"I pledge... that'll I'll be number one."

I facepalm as 1A yelled, "I knew he'd do that!" Everyone in the other classes were booing and yelling insults at him while he walked off the stage with small lectures from Iida but the poor guy got ignored again. While that happened, the big screen above us changed saying 'First Game.'

"Now, let's start right away, the first game is what you'd call a qualifier! Every year many drink their tears here, now here's the fateful first game!"

A projection screen appeared behind Midnight while it had a random picking spinner on, then it stopped showing 'Obstacle Race.'

"All eleven classes will participate in this race , the course will be the outer circumference of the stadium, about four kilometers! As long a you stay on course it doesn't matter what you do! Now take your places everyone!

Everyone walked towards the tunnel to enter the track and watched as the three lights slowly changed from red to green. When the last one changed everyone including me moved.
