Niall's POV
I wasn't all for the plan, as it could hurt Grace. But if this is what it takes to get him to go away, it needs to happen. We already hired police to come and help, apparently, back in London, he's do for speeding tickets, and other things, and he won't show up to his court dates, so this is going to help them too. Grace is going to invite him in, and when she says the safe word, the police will come running out. I think I could speak for Harry as well when I say, he needs his ass beat.
Grace's POV
I think I was the only scared one. This plan wasn't fully sure that I wouldn't get hurt. Niall, of course, made sure that everything would go fine. But I was never sure myself.
"Ready?" Liam placed his hand on my shoulder.
I sighed. "Ready."
The police had arrived and we showed them to the room they would pop out of.
The boys hid out on the balcony. Bryan text me indecating he was on his way. Surely enough, ten minutes later there was a knock at the door.
"Gracey baby." He greeted, I shut the door behind him.
He sighed. "Let's run away from here. I'll take you back home, we could live happily ever after together like I promised. You've always wanted a fairy tale ending, Grace." I could feel Niall cringe right then.
"Really? Do fairy tales end with the guy cheating on the girl with a slut, and the girl's heart broken?" there was silence.
"Yeah, I didn't think so either." I spat at him.
"We can start over. You can get away from your celebrity boyfriend, we can be a quiet little happy couple like we used to be. Get drunk, have crazy nights, then settle down and have a few kids like you always wanted." It sounded so promising. Yeah. Riiighhhtttt.....
"I'm not here for your charity, Bryan. It's over. We," I crushed at that word. "We will never be anything. Ever again. I'll make sure of it. You're busted Bryan." Busted was the safe word.
The policeman bursted through the door with guns held to Bryan's head. Bryan put his hands up in surrender. The lead policeman handcuffed him and led him out. Bryan didn't say a word.
"Great job, Gray." Garret congradulated.
"Thanks." I whispered. Me and Niall exchanged glances, I didn't sat anything before walking out the door.
I walked and walked that night. No specific destination. I found a little park, I went and sat on the swings. I swung just a little bit back and forth, my hood was up. I looked up at the sky and wondered.
Why me? Why did I have the most perfect boyfriend? Why did my ex cheat on me, and want me back? Why did my parents die? Why, why, WHY?!
I started crying, and I heard someone calling my name. There was a man, whom I did not recognize. he was running my direction, but he passed me. It took me a minute to realize he was calling out to a little girl, about three years old.
"Grace! I thought I'd lost you." He hugged her tightly. The little girl was holding a wilting flower in her hand. He picked her up and walked away. She had long red hair, beautiful green eyes, pale skin.
I decided it was time to head back home and face the boys. I walked slowly in the rain. Letting each one of the heaven's teardrops hit my skin.
I made it back to th hotel, not conpletely soaked, but I needed a change of clothes. I typed in the passcode to the hotel room, ten individual eyeballs staring at me.
"Grace! You're back!" Louis came up and hugged me.
"We looked all over for you." Liam sighed.
I sighed as well. "I just needed some alone time. I went to a little park across the street."
"Well we're glad you're back." Zayn sighed. I took Nialls hand and led him into the bedroom.
"Are you okay? I asked him.
"Yes, I'm fine. I'm happy you're okay." He smiled.
I hugged him tight. "I'm sorry I ran off like that." I sniffled into his shoulder.
"It's alright Grace. I know you probably needed to take everything in."
I smiled and let go of him. We made our way back out to the living room, Harry was staring at me.
"Can I talk to you?" He asked quietly while the boys were fighting over something to watch.
We went into his room, and he sat me down in the bed, where he sat down next to me.
"Did you love Bryan?" He asked.
"Well of course. Everyone believes they'll find that special person in their life that they will love forever. I believe I loved him. But that all changed. He's not what I want anymore."
"Niall really loves you. He was scared we wouldn't find you in the rain. I just told him you probably just needed time alone, that's all." He smiled crookedly.
"I really wanted to kick Bryan's ass. Just so you know." He and I laughed.
"That makes six of us."
