"SO, WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE BEAST"
Toni asked as we walked out of school. "He stinks and he barks all the time. He's got no boundaries." Jughead replied. "Every new recruit has to take care of Hot Dog. It's tradition. By the way, this is our third Hot Dog." She said. "And if anyone loses him or if anything happens to him you go through me and I'm pretty sure you don't want that for you Jug." I said pointing a finger at him and he nodded. "Hot Dog the third. This is borderline ridiculous." Jughead said, getting onto him motorcycle. Toni then mocked him, making me laugh.
"Kinda like Forsyth the third?"

"A Serpent never shows cowardice. Uh, if a Serpent is killed or imprisoned, their family will be taken care of. Serpents..." Jug said.
We were back home and Toni and I were helping Jughead study the laws of the Serpents for his second trial in order to officially become one.
"Oh come on Jug", I said throwing me head back with a groan. "Focus. You need to take this seriously." Toni backed me up. "I am, you guys. I swear to god I am, just..." he said before walking to the kitchen. "It's just the beast. And now these laws." He said. "Why the change of heart anyway? Why go from conscientious to full fledged member?" Toni questioned. "Cause if something you said. My dad was the only person keeping idiots like Sweet Pea in line. Someone needs to step up. To keep an all out war from erupting. I am taking this seriously, Toni." He said.
"So from the top", Toni said causing Jug to let out groan.

"What is the fourth law?" Tall Boy screamed.
We were all in the Whyte Wyrm. I was at the bar with Toni, Fangs, and Sweets.
"No Serpent is left for dead." Jug screamed back and continued until he reached the last one.
"In unity there is strength"
After that was said, the entire room repeated after him.
"You know the laws. Now it's time for your next trial." Tall Boy announced. Fangs and Sweet Pea both moved aside which revealed a glass cage with snakes and a knife inside of it.
I looked over at Toni with wide eyes, brows furrowed, and jaw dropped. She just looked back at me with worried but hopeful eyes.
