Tame, but telling

Warning: Blood?

The snow is bright and blinding, Ant's first thoughts were, watching it fall silently to the ground and joining more blinding snow. Despite it being the first time seeing snow, Ant wasn't impressed. It reminded him of home, or what he should call home. Walls and pillars of pure white quartz and a throne to match was home. This was just like home, cold and bitter.

But he was free here. Free from his dad and the law that he has to become the heir. Ant could do what he wanted and not have to listen to anyone.

He took in a deep breath and let it out, seeing fog float outward. He let his eyes darken until they were black, blinking as his mind slipped back into a sort of meditation. The trees around him bent, small circles forming at each branch or branch off. The future told from trees. This was Ant's way of seeing things since he was so new to this power. He didn't know how his dad saw things, but it probably sucked.

He saw a tree for himself, watching a path die and wither on one branch as another grew from one close by. The path where he was reset died, as well as his path to becoming 'king'. He saw a path with Sparkles with him in this forest holding strong, the two standing close and watching the snowfall together. A branch next to that one held the same path, but there was a stranger-

The future dimmed, until blinking out. Ant blinking his eyesight returned, seeing the present again with nothing changed. He reached up and touched his nose, feeling a liquid pouring out. He wiped it with his arm, looking down and seeing a smear of black.

"Huh."
