Not as extreme as the last but still bad?

"Test 263, changed the inner components on M-16 to a reverse function," Ssun recorded, clicking the stop and save before turning to the machine before him. His eyes were beginning to have dark circles under them from lack of sleep. Crainer had given up on the machine but Ssun was determined to make it work, except it kept exploding in his face.

He went over and pushed his arm into the center to hold down a component, knowing well enough it should be ok since it was in the past tests. Taking a deep breath, he pressed an outer button. The machine whirred before making a pop noise. A spark hit Ssun on his cheek, making him flinch and jerk his arm back and off the component. A thing clanked inside and clamped onto his arm before he could pull it out fully, making Ssun hiss and bite his lower lip.

"Come on come on you were working so well," Ssun mumbled and pulled his arm, feeling it not budge. He pulled again but froze when hearing the machine make the new noise. And before he could place it the lower half gave out, sending a sharp piped straight through his stomach. Ssun sucked in his breath and let his body lower as the machine fell, thinking it would lessen the damage. Instead, he felt the pipe move and tear his stomach open, letting blood and guts spill on the ground. He closed his eyes and leaned his head on the metal, seeing and feeling his heart count fall under it went to zero.

"Test 264, repairs and placing M-16 back to its original function and making M-17 a reverse," Ssun recorded, feeling the pain ebbing in his stomach despite being healed. He looked to the machine, dread in his eyes.
