AN- Alright guys, here is the newest chapter. Hope you are all enjoying them.
Enjoy
Nick woke up earlier than he ever had in his entire life. 5:30AM wasn't exactly the time a hustler would HAVE to get up, but he wasn't a hustler anymore. He was a cop. That's what made Nick spring out of thew bed. This was his first day as an officer of the ZPD.
The fox hurried into his uniform and looked hiself in the mirror. A smile crept on the fox's face. He was a cop. Suddenly his phone rang and Nick picked it up,"Wilde here," The fox said.
"Hey, Slick, it's Judy. Was seeing if you were ready to go."
"I'm as ready as I can be, Carrots," Nick said.
"Good, because I'm outside of your apartment."
Nick raised a brow as he looked out the window, seeing Judy's police cruiser,"That's not creepy at all."
"Just get out here, you dumb fox," Judy laughed, ending the call.
Nick quickly got downstairs, then out the door, into the parking lot where he saw Judy in the car.
"So, ready to make the world a better place?" Judy asked with a smile that lit up the still dark sky.
"I sure am," Nick responded.
###
"Alright, SHUT IT!" Bogo yelled coming into the the room,"Now, we have some knew recruits with us today. Including our first fox..who cares?" The buffalo said, looking down at his clip board.
"HA!" Nick laughed,"You should have your own line of inspirational greeting cards, sir," Nick said with a grin.
"SHUT YOUR MOUTH, WILDE," Bogo yelled to the fox. He then began to give the officers their assignments, including Nick and Judy's. They were both happy that he was only kidding about parking duty.
The two were now sitting in the cop car again. Judy was being a little rough on the gas, still slightly nervous about the size of the car. Nick took this as an opertunity to play with the bunny,"So, are all rabbits bad driver, or is it just you?" Nick said, eating the pawpcycle Finnick was selling, this time, legally.
Judy grinned and intentionally hit the brakes, causing the fox to fall down, the pawpcycle sticking to his eye,"Oops, sorry," Judy said sarcastically said.
"Haha, Sly bunny," Nick said with a smile.
"Dumb fox," Judy responded.
"You know you love me," Nick said without thinking. He was panicing inside, but tried to play it cool outside.
"Do I know that?" Judy said in a thinknig tone,"Yes, yes I do....."
Judy had just realized what she said. The bunny would have said something about it, but had no time as a red car sped passed them. Nick put on his aviators and turned on the siren as Judy hit the gas on the car, chasing after the racer. Little did they know, the mammal in the car was none other than Flash the sloth.
###
After dealing with Flash and giving him a ticket, the fox and Bunny had basically forgot about what was said in the car. Either that, or neither of them wanted to mention it.
The two had taken care of their assigned task so just started patrolling. As they were driving, Judy noticed that the two were out of gas,"Damn, Nick we need gas. You mind going inside and paying?"
"Of course not," Nick said,"I need to use to bathroom anyway."
The bunny pulled over at a nearby gas station. They both got out, and Nick went inside. Paying the leopard behind the counter and then going to the bathroom.
