 As it was expected, Nick was fired from the ZPD. Bogo didn't want to do it, Honestly. He has trusted the fox, but the evidence given to them was worth a lot more than Nick's word. The fox also had to spend a couple days in jail. Sense he didn't have any drungs on him, Nick was pretty much good. The fox hadn't spoken a word to Judy sense the night she hung up on him for saying that Brett framed him.

It had been a week sense Nick was released and the fox was broken. He barely ate. He barely slept. There were some nights where Nick would just stare at the phone for hours at a time, hoping that Judy would call. Nick hadn't even gotten a call from his mother sense he was sent to jail. Maybe she was waiting for him to call her? Whatever the reason were for the lack of calls, Nick didn't feel any better. He wanted Judy back in his life, but he knew that wouldn't happen. She hated him. And there was a small voice in Nicks heart that said he hated her too.

She refused to believe him when he told her that he was innocent. He thought of all the mammals in Zootopia, SHE would be by his side. However, that wasn't true. After that terrible night, Judy went straight to Bogo to get Nick fired. Nick could have been angry about that, but he wasn't. It was expected to happen. So, why was Nick was angry with her? The answer was clear. Even though she basically ruined his life, He still loved her.

Nick was sitting on his couch, still wallowing in his own depression when a knock came to his door. The fox groaned,"Who is it?!" Nick raised a brow. He was starting to sound like Finnick.

"It's Faith," the familiar voice said.

Nick got up and went to the door, unlocking it and allowing the bunny inside,"What do you want?"

Faith looked at the fox,"I came to talk to you about Judy."

Nick turned around and went back to the couch,"Why? I believe she made it VERY clear that she didn't want to see me anymore."

"Nick, despite what you BOTH may think, she still needs you, and you still need her."

Nick got up from the couch,"No I don't. I am a grown fox, I can take care of myself. I have doe it for years."

Faith looked shocked at the fox,"So, what are you going to do? Start conning again?"

"I don't have any other choice."

"The hell you don't, Nick. You can get your job back."

Nick looked at the bunny,"No I can't. I was fired for done something illegal. I will never be seen the same again in the eyes of the city."

"You did not buy those drugs, Nick. You didn't order them. And you never used them. I know that. Your mom knows that. And deep down..Judy knows that."

Nick laughed,"She has a funny way pf showing it."

Faith looked down,"Nick...Judy isn't doing too good."

Nick faced Faith,"What do you mean?"

"She isn't the same bunny she used to be. Brett is the one manipulating her. He is the one who told her she was wrong for trusting you and for whatever reason, She belived him."

"Yeah, I already know how it is with that Brett guy."

Faith looked at Nick one more time before saying,"Your mom is on her way down here...you may want to listen to what she has to say. It might just open your eyes a little bit," Faith was about to leave, but stopped,"And sense your mom is coming over, i'd suggest you get a shower. You stink to high hell."

Nick nodded his head with a laugh. The first real laugh he had had in a while.

Judy sat in her cubicle, looking at the empty seat beside her where Nick would normally be making a wise cracking Joke, but he wasn't. The bunny decided to take a break from writing reports and talk with Clawhouser."

"Hey, Ben," Judy said to the cheetah.

The cheetah looked a little upset as he said,"Hey, Judy."

Judy noticed the cats tone of voice and said,"What's wrong?"

"You know what's wrong," Clawhouser said,"You and I BOTH know that Nick was innocent. He would do anything like that."

Judy looked to the cheetah,"How do we know that? Hell,you barely know him and yet you are taking his side? You weren't even there."

"No, but I was," a voice said from beside the desk. It was the bear who was trying to sell the drugs."

"The suspect decided to speak of what happened."

Jud was a little shocked,"Why?"

"Because I know how it feels to be saw as guilty for something you didn't do. I am not here for you, rabbit. I'm here for Nick."

Judy was a little shocked, but said,"What happened?"

"Well, I thought that the fox wanted to drugs because a Weasel Named Duke told he where to ship them. After I saw what had happened in that hallway, I knew that I had to speak up. The reason I didn't say anything sooner was because I didn't realize just how serious it had gotten."

Judy looked down with her head spinning. Things just got a little complicated,"Clawhouser, look up where I can find Duke Weaselton."

The cheetah smiled at the bunny. He knew she wasn't gonna give up on Nick like that.

Nick's mom had arrived to Nicks house and the first thing she did was give the fox a hug,"Nicky, I am so sorry that this is happening to you."

"It's ok, mom," Nick said hugging her back.

"That Damned Brett is a bad egg. How could Judith take his word over hers."

"He has here wrapped around his fingure, mom."

The vixen was still not pleased,"I heard Brett and a Weasel talking in the store the other day. I should have said something sooner, but I didn't know what to say. I can't help but blame myself."

"Don't do that, Mom," Nick said,"Do not blame youself. There is nothing anyone could have done about this."

Nick had thought there was no way that things could get any worse for Nick, but he was proven wrong when he got a call from the ZPD,"Hello?" Nick said.

Bogo's voice was then heard,"Wilde, is it true that Duke Weaselton was the one who wrongly sold you those drungs?"

Nick looked a little confused,"Yes it is Chief, but-"

The buffalo cut him off,"Get here now. We need to speak with you."

"I have to go, Mom," Nick said.

The fox then grabbed his keys and headed toward the ZPD.

THIRTY MINUTES EARILER

Judy had gotten an address to Duked place and drove there. However, upon arriving, he noticed that the establishment was broken in to. The bunny grabbed her taser and carefully walked in. The she looked down, and laying there on the ground was body of Duke Weaselton. Three bullet holes in his back, and one in his head.

"Judy quickly grabbed the radio,"Hopps to dispatch, I have found the body of Duke Weaselton. He is dead....." Judy couldn't even believe was she was about to say, but it was here job,"and find Nick Wilde."

AN- OMG!!!!! The Duke is dead?!?!?!?!?! And Guess who it is gonna be pinned on.....you guessed it. Nick. This story just got a little bit more interesting.. Stay tuned guys. Next chapter will be up ASAP.
