Flair knew she was late for headcount. She couldn't be late! Her life depended on it!

She adjusted her tedious grey jumpsuit in the mirror and ran her fingers through her long red hair and tucked it behind her ear. She examined her face in detail, the red freckles that danced across her face seemed to have multiplied these last few weeks. She turned away from the mirror and dashed out the front door. As she charged down the long corridor, she heard the little footsteps of people behind her, she snapped her head around, there stood two little girls.

"We have your ID Flair," one of them smiled innocently.

Knowing she was now even more late, she had no choice but to scoop up both girls in her arms and return them to the safety of their apartment.

"Flair?" she heard a voice say. Flair turned around and saw Miss Wilcox staring back at her with suspicion. It was known the old lady wouldn't think twice about reporting anyone she saw fit to the government.

"VERMIN!" she screamed pointing at the little girls before heading back inside her apartment.
