Calum: Lazy Day

~Y/N POV~
Finally, Cal has a day off. He has been super busy writing for the new album that he rarely ever has time to spend with me and Duke, and we miss him a lot. Cal comes home every night, but its usually around 2 am and I'm already asleep since I have to get up at around 7 to get ready for class, being a part time college student. But every morning when I leave Im sure to wake him up and say I love you and the mushy ish, but today I get to wake up next to him, and just lay there. No school, no recording. Just me, Calum, and the baby. The baby being Duke obviously. I break away from my thoughts and turn to face Calum, who was already wide awake.
     "Well good morning beautiful." He mumbles, leaning in to give me a peck on the lips. Holy DAMN is he hot in the morning. The raspy voice, the messy hair. His curls falling softly on his forehead as he moves.
     "Morning cutie." I smile. He smiles back,
     "No youre the cu-"
     "Sorry I was talking to Dukie." I laugh, patting my lap for him. Duke hops in between us and gives us a few morning kisses, obviously to start the day off right. Calum fake pouts and turns to face away from me.
     "Oh Cal don't do me like that." I put my arm around him and rest my chin on his shoulder.
     "Love me." I whine, and he laughs as he turns back around to face me.
     "Tell me I'm cute." I roll my eyes, he's killing me here.
      "You're absolutely adorable, and amazing at guilt tripping." He giggles, and pulls me closer to him.

"Soooo.. Watcha wanna do today?" He says, hands around my waist.
      "I don't know, I just want to lay here with you. I dont want to move from here." I rest my head on his arm, looking into his deep brown eyes.
     "Well, do ya wanna watch movies and build one of those pillow forts like those couples do on Pinterest?" I beam at him. Man, did this boy know how to treat a woman. Right when he said pillow fort I was already out of bed looking for the perfect base.

It took us many attempts, but once the fort was finished, Cal turned on Netflix and we laid there for hours. And you can't have a true lazy day without UberEats-ing anything and everything we're craving. Today, we were craving a deep dish pizza. Random food choice, but quoting Calum, it was "Tasty as heck." We cuddled with Duke and ended up passing out in each other's arms. Out of all of the days I've spent with him, I've never loved him more than I do right now.
