"where do you think it is?" Kai asked while walking through the forest with Mira and Adam. "No clue. That weird princes could have left it anywhere" Adam responded while looking around.
"You think it's in a tree?" Kai asked
Mira gave him a funny look "why would the ring be in a tree?" Kai got defensive
"I don't know! This place isn't exactly normal!"
"Oh Look!" Mira shouted while running up to a couple of rabbits, completely ignoring Kai. The boys stood behind and just let her play with the rabbits. Usually Adam wouldn't want to stop but he knew they all needed a break, "My feet feel like I've been walking for the past 10 years!" Kai complained while sitting on a rock. Adam sat down on the big rock next to him, "we've probably only been walking for like 10 minutes at most." Kai didn't respond and instead kept looking at Mira. He saw her pick up a Rabbit and hold it close to her face with a smile. That made Kai smile. Adam looked at Kai, then at Mira, then back at Kai. Adam knew that look, that look he was giving Mira. He knew because that's the same look Adam gives Kai whenever he practices how to use his powers or when he's just being over all adorable. "uh Kai?" there was no response "KAI!" Kai quickly jolted and turned towards Adam. "wha— uh— yeah?" Adam looked at him with a face of sadness and anger. "Stop staring at her—" Adam looked down at the ground between his feet "its weird..."
"it's not my fault!" Kai moved closer to Adam and forced him to look at Mira "I mean look at her!" both boys watched as Mira was talking to the rabbits. Adam froze and instead looked at the corner of his eye, he looked at Kai. And how close he was to him, he looked looked at him and realized how much Kai really did like her. He thought about how sad it would make Kai if he never got to tell Mira how he felt. Adam sighed "you should tell her..."
Kai looked at him confused "what?"
"yeah...if she makes you that happy...I mean I should know. If I were to havent crush..I'd tell him— her.. I'd tell her." Kai looked at Mira, "okay...I-I'll do it"
"right now?"
"Well...when else?"
Adam just wanted Kai to be happy, but he wanted Kai to be happy with him... "I guess you're right..." Adam responded in a low voice, about ready to start crying. Kai stood up "uh I guess I'll look around for a bit, you know to see if I can find anything..." Adam said with a shaky voice while standing up. Kai nodded not hearing the hurt in his voice and walked towards Mira. Adam turned around and started walking the other direction, he kept walking until he was far away enough so they wouldn't hear him. Adam sat against a tree while tears slowly filled his eyes. But he didn't sound like he was crying, he was just silent. He knew he liked Kai, it was like he was falling in love with him. But Kai liked Mira...and he's probably straight...
Adam just sat there hurting, left with his thoughts.

Kai walked up to Mira "So...what are they're names?" Mira looked up at him "Hm?"
"The rabbits.."
"oh! Well this one is Rose and this one is Oscar." Kai smiled "they are really cute.." Mira smiled and looked back at the rabbits. "Just like you..." Mira froze
"W-What?" she questioned while looking at him. "look Mira..." Kai moved closer, grabbing her hands gently "I really like you...like a lot..and—"
"Kai..."
"uh..yes?"
"i-im sorry..." Kai felt his heart sink as Mira pulled her hands away "I—I'm sorry but I think I'm falling for someone else..."
"A—Adam?!?"
"what makes you think—"
"He's the only other guy you know right now!"
"okay fine it's Adam.." Kai felt heartbroken he just walked away "Kai.."
"I just..need to be alone right now..." he said as he kept walking. Mira went to look for Adam "Adam?! Adam!!" Adam quickly stood up looking for Mira's voice "Mira?!" Mira looked between a few bushes "Adam!"
"where's Kai!" Adam knew what happened, all he could think was why would Mira ever reject an adorable boy like Kai!?! Adam couldn't believe it.
"He went off by himself...look Adam."
"wait shouldn't we go look for Kai?"
"No he's fine! Adam I need to tell you something before it's too late!"
Adam looked at her confused
Mira looked up into Adams eyes "Adam..." she moved closer. That automatically made Adam feel uncomfortable, she reached up and kissed him. Adam was in disbelief How could she do this immediately after rejecting Kai!?! He thought the entire time Mira kissed him. He didn't kiss back and instead just let it happen. He didn't want to embarrass her, but he also didn't want Mira kissing him. The entire time he wished it was Kai that was kissing him.

Mira pulled away and looked down worried about what reaction Adam might give next. She finally looked up and saw Adams face, it looked like he was trying to hide disgust. She felt her heart broke as she took a few steps back, "I-I'm sorry...I just had to do that
before—" Adam cut her off
"You just rejected Kai..." she looked at him surprised "How did you..."
"He told me..he told me he was gonna confess. And you rejected him!?!" Mira was confused "why do you care?" Adam stood quiet for a couple seconds "uh— we have to go find Kai..right now" he replied while turning in the direction of where Mira saw the rabbits. Mira just followed him with her head hanging low. "Where did he go?" Adam asked with a worried tone in his voice. Mira pointed in the direction Kai went, "okay.." Adam said walking in that direction "we have to hurry, we don't know what could happen to hi—" Adam was cut off when he saw Vanessa fly above trees. "Do you guys see where he went?!" she yelled out to the ground beneath her. Adam immediately went into panic mode "Really!?! He was alone for like less then 5 minutes!!"
