"Pinky promise?"
Giving off a light chuckle you reply "I pinky promise, Jim!"
Lukas mouth went wide as he smiled. "Wow! so you're like my sister in law now!" he glomped on you still smiling. Disconnecting you and Jim's pinkies. you began to ruffle his hair and slowly look up to Jim who was smiling with a hand on his hip. Looking into his eyes you started to wonder what the future had in store for the two of you. Probably a hopeful one? Well you can always dream until that day came.
"Wait a minute." his face dropped as his hand inches towards your face. Pushing your bangs away he squinted his eyes.
"WHO DID THIS TO YOU?" There was anger in his voice.
Luka gets off of you and answers Jims question for you.
"A baker threw rocks at us"
Jim clenches his teeth then grabbed a bottle of medicine you guys stole from an elderly man, and threw it at the ground out of rage.
"Everyone... EVERYONE SHOULD JUST GO AND DIE." A sinister smile crept on his face
Luka ran behind his big brother hugging him from behind "I hope your wish comes true!"
Not moving an inch. You watched Luka give his brother public display of affection. Not really paying attention to what they were doing.You were too lost in thought about what Jim said. 'Everyone should just go and die?' You did believe that some of the people should have died for not helping you guys. You were all orphans living by yourselves and that alone deserved some sympathy. Yet you guys barley got any, but just because they gave you little to no compassion doesnt mean they all deserve to die.
You stop your daydreaming and notice that Jim was now trying to talking to you both.
"You must never leave my side, Understand?"
Luka bows down before Jim " Yes, Your majesty"
'Never leave your side.' The words stuck in your head as you stood there staring at the two.
-----------~Time Skip~-----------
The three of you were walking toward the local water supply when you spotted something
"A- A corpse!" you scream out in terror.
The two run up to the water supply.
"W-What happened" Jim began to stutter in terror.
Catching up to them you point out to a fire "Look." Your hand covered your mouth from shock.
You guys finally made it to what you pointed at and you were now standing there in disbelief. What stood infront of you all was your burning village, Corpses, and ashes were scattered everywhere.
"Dead.." Jim mumbled
"What?!" You had a horrified expression now as you turned to him.
"Dead.. THEY ARE ALL DEAD NOW! All the ones who wronged us are now dead!"
He raised his hand making a peace sign and Luka followed.
Lowering both of their hands beside their eyes they began to chant. "They're all dead!"
Now running around in circles. Jim fell on the ground, laying on his back, and smiles using his elbow to prop himself up. "Let's steal now."
"Okay, Let's meet up back here." Luka said with his usual cheeriness.
"Agreed" You say. Stealing wasnt something you liked but it was the only way to get by.
You all split up.
-------about a 20 minute time skip------
"Where the hell are they?" Jim groaned. "We agreed that we would meet here."
Taking a few steps he began his search for you and Luka. Cupping his hands together to form a megaphone. He screamed your names to find you both.
"LUKA? (R/N)?"
"LUKAAA?" He glances over and sees a body that looks like his brothers and began to walk toward him.
"There you are. I was looking for you. why didnt you meet up-" His words were cut short when he noticed Luka was not moving.
"Luka?" Confusion marked Jims face as he sprinted towards Luka. Holding his body in his hands. "Luka wake up.. please stop playing..." His eyes began to tear up. "Luka? You cant leave me. W-W-we were supposed to be together forever." His voice was barely audible. "Luka no..please.. LUKKKAAA." He screamed into Lukas chest.
His head shot up and froze when he remembered you. Standing up He began to call out to you but there was no response.
Using all his strength he picked up his brothers lifeless body and tried to find you.
"(r/n)?" Looking everywhere he only found other corpses, but it was not like he could see good anyways because all he could see was the tears flowing out of his eyes.
"(r/n)...?"
He couldnt take it anymore, Jim was only a little kid and Luka was too heavy for him to carry for too long, so putting Lukas body on the ground he laid his head on his chest once more.
"I'm sorry.." was the last words that could be heard from him. The rest was muffled by his tears.
