*Zayns' P.O.V.*
the feeling of having her lips on mine after two years was just priceless. i put my hands on her waist and pulled her closer to me. i didn't want to be anywhere,or with anyone but lexi,right here and now. she wrapped her arms around my neck and she was on the tips of her toes so she could be a little taller. i smiled through the kiss,picking her up so that her legs were wrapped around my waist. after a few minutes lexi pulled away,her eyes wide. "um...wow" lexi said,her eyes trailing to my lips. i smiled and pecked her lips one last time,setting her down on the patio table. i stood in front of her and looked deep into her eyes. "lexi,can we have one last chance?" i asked,my heart beating faster,waiting for her response. "zayn..." she trailed off,looking everywhere but me. i put my finger under her chin and gazed into her eyes. "lexi...'don't be scared,i ain't going nowhere...i'll be here,by your side,no more fears,no more crying' " i softly cooed to her. i saw the tears reach the rims of her eyes,threatening to fall out. "lexi,i'm not gonna do the same thing as last time...i know what i'm doing,i know i was immature and stupid." i admitted,my heart longing for her final answer. "zayn,i don't wanna be hurt,i don't wanna be an option to you." she said,her eyes finally looking into mine without fear. i wiped away the tears that streamed down her cheeks with my thumb,causing a smile to form on her lips. "lexi,this time it's just me and you. no one to ruin us...not this time" i promised her,my heart beating even faster. "okay" lexi said,a smile fully plastered on her face. i was about to shout out in happiness,but her hand quickly flew to my mouth,stopping me from saying anything. "no zayn! we have to keep it a secret! i'm not ready for anyone to know yet..." she said,and i gave her a confused look. "why?" i asked,pulling her into my arms. "i just want to see how it works out,then we can tell them when we're fully ready." lexi said,smiling up at me. i smiled back and lightly pecked her lips. "you're right. but are we supposed to act like we hate each other in front of them?" i asked,the thought running through my head. this was going to be hard,but i knew it would be worth it. "yeah,i guess. we'll try sneaking off every now and then,but without them knowing. we just gotta act like we completely despise each other." lexi said,looking deep into my eyes. i nodded my head pulled her closer to me. for the first time in two years i felt complete. "i love you lexi,more than words can describe." i said,pecking her lips quickly. she smiled and kissed my cheek,her eyes full of happiness. "i love you too zayn,more than anything" she told me,causing me to grin from ear to ear. "guys,are you still out there?" we heard louis yell. lexi jumped to the other side of the patio and gave me a worried look. "quick,act like we were fighting!" i whisper-shouted,waiting for louis to come out here. "guys?" louis asked,coming out with the boys,el,jess,and danielle at his heels. "man i hate you zayn! you're such a douche!!" lexi yelled out,giving me a fake glare. i shoot a fake glare back and cross my arms. "i'm sorry,i don't speak to bitches like you!" i screamed back,causing everyone to roll their eyes. "we thought you guys made up..." jess trailed off. i shook my head in disgust and glared at lexi,to see her give me a quick wink when nobody was looking. i gave her a quick smile then went back to glaring. "i would never make up with a bitch like her!" i spat,making everyone groan. "um...we were gonna go play laser tag,you guys wanna come?" harry asked,looking at me and lexi. "i'm gonna watch a movie and try to get my mind off this dick!" lexi shouted,pointing at me. "i'm gonna go upstairs and tweet tonight,get my mind off this whore!" i yelled back,staring at her. everyone groaned again,and they quickly ran to the door and outside. i walked inside to lock the door,listening to their footsteps fade away. once the coast was clear,lexi ran into my arms and put her legs around my waist,kissing me passionately. "you're and amazing actor" she breathed out,her forehead pressed against mine. "and you're one hell of an actress" i replied,making her giggle. she shook her head playfully and pushed her lips straight back on mine. right where they belong.
