The Tour

Yoora's POV
( it will stay on her POV for the first few chapters. Don't worry, the exciting stuff is coming soon! I am excited to write that!)

The bus parked into a lot, finally stopping. I grinned so widely that it made Mark wince. " Jesus, Yoora. You're gonna kill me with that death smile."

I ignored him as usual. Since Mark and I were the closest to the bus doors, we got to go out first. As I stepped out, I stared in wonder of the gigantic building that stood before my eyes. The sign stated MSGenius Rocket Center. Smiling softly, I took out my camera and snapped my first photo of this paradise.

All of us as a class walked towards the main entrance. We were greeted by a tall, very handsome man with a cute, boxy smile. " Hello! Welcome to the MSGenius Rocket Center! It is a pleasure to have you all here!"

We returned his greetings, and he continued to talk. " My name is Jaesung Han! You guys can call me Jaesung or Mr. J, whatever you want. I am your guide and I will be showing you around the center for today!" We all clapped for him. He motioned us to go on inside.

As I stepped inside the building, I was blinded by the intense beauty of the building. The interior structure looked so intricate and so well designed, I couldn't stop gazing at them in true beauty. The walls made me feel like I was meant to be here, finally getting to feel the warmth of the place I dreamed to be. I snapped out of my beauty trance when Jaesung began to talk again. " The MSGenius Rocket Center was built just about 5 years ago, when scientists discovered more knowledge about other planets and dimensions found in space. At that time, there was no rocket or launchpad, so the government constructed this building so they could launch experiments and continue collecting data from space. From year 26437 to our current year, 26442, there has been a total of over 200 expeditions out to space, and each one was successful. Every astronaut returned safely while collecting the information needed."

" Each year, our technology becomes more advanced, which ensures the safety of our people," he continued to talk, " and recently our departments developed a new type of technology that would give us the glance of another universe and planet, even!" I was so amazed.

Just then, another tall, handsome man with striking features came walking out from a door to the hallway and proceeded to come towards us. I stared at him, eyes turning big. Never have I ever seen a person so... beautiful before. Who is he? I thought.

The unbelievably attractive man smiled and began to introduce himself, too. " Hello! I am the director of the MSGenius Rocket Center, Kwon Joonwoo. We are so glad to have you here with us today!" He smiled again. Then, Professor Lee walked to the front of our small group and shook hands with him.

"Ah, Daesuk! It is so nice to see you again. How have you been doing?" Mr. Kwon exclaimed. Professor chuckled. " I am well, and as you can see, I have brought my students again to tour. And this year, I have a "top student", Oh Yoora." He gestured towards me, and I slightly blushed.

Mr. Kwon turned to me, and he spoke, " You must be the student that wrote the exceptional essay! I was very surprised at how well that work was written. Truly amazing!" I looked at the floor and timidly said thank you, attempting to hide the growing redness across my face. A handsome man just complimented me!

" Well, we should be starting the tour soon! Jaesung will show you around, and afterwards, he will take Miss Oh to see me, and we will continue on! How does that sound?" We all cheered happily.

As we strolled at a steady steady pace around the rocket center, we were met with numerous types of technology. They were all highly advanced, but as the group neared the elevator, Jaesung stopped us.

" Alright now, students. We are about to head into one of the many laboratories. I must warn you, please do not touch anything. Feel free to look as long as you desire, but no pictures! Stay silent in the lab, of course." We all nodded and he smiled, swiped his ID card to uncover some buttons, and pressed the down option.

Not even a second later, the door opened, revealing a capacious, luxury space. Everyone managed to fit in with enough room in between. The doors closed, and the elevator plummeted downwards.

Shortly, we arrived at the entrance to the laboratory. The doors looked solid and firm. Jaesung once again swiped his ID, and like a scene from a movie, the doors slowly opened to the side.

We gasped in awe at the sight before us. Various kinds of tech laid out in front of our eyes, which grew wider with each second. I believe my eyes had been stretched to the widest they've ever had.

After a short tour around the lab, the rest of our class dispersed, until only Jaesung and I were left behind. Mark waved goodbye and I waved back, smiling. Professor Lee wished me luck and to have fun, and I thanked him wholeheartedly.

" Okay, Yoora! Since you have been given a special privilege, the director himself will show you around. I'll take you to his office now." At the mention of the director, I blushed. After we reached his office, Jaesung encouraged me to knock. " Go on, you can knock."

I lifted my fist and was about to knock on the wooden door, but right as I brought my hand to it, the door abruptly opened and my fist ended up on the hard chest of Mr. Kwon. I yelped and jumped back, my full face and ears tomato red. Ahh! Why did he just open it now? I am embarrassing myself... how many times have I blushed!?

Mr. Kwon looked down at my tiny figure, his eyes unresponsive for just about a second. What was he thinking?
