“Who is the girl taking to Coach?” Scott asked Stiles.

“That’s not just a girl. That is Luna Aurora.” Scott just gave him a look that was like, ‘Am I suppose to know who that is?’

Stiles sighed, “Were you not born and raised in Beacon Hills?” He didn’t let him answer that, “Luna Aurora, was the only female lacrosse player in our school’s history. She graduated a few years ago. How did you not know that?” Scott just shrugged.

He glanced in her and Coach Finstock’s direction, and she was kind of staring at them. “She is looking at us.” Scott reported.

“Wait what?” Stile instantly glanced at this Luna person. She immediately looked back at the coach who was trying to talk to her.

LUNA’S POV-

“Bobby Finstock, How are ya?” I gave him my classic smirk/smile.

“That’s Coach, Aurora. Coach.” Then he smiled, “What are you even doing here?”

“Heard you finally had a good team.” I glanced around at the players practicing, my eyes stopped on two. Number 24, and Number 11. Eleven in particular. I focused to hear what the two were saying.

24 says to 11, “That’s Luna Aurora.” I smiled, considering they were talking about me. “She graduated a few years ago.”

Soon 11 was looking at me. He had dark eyes that matched mine pretty closely.

“So what do you say?” The coach asked me. “About?” I hope he didn’t realize I wasn’t paying attention to what he was saying.

“About putting some pads on and showing these losers how to kick some serious butt.” He wanted me to play. Oh Lord.

“I’m good actually. And they aren’t losers. Didn’t they make it to state?”  I rambled awkwardly.

“Same old, Luna.” He punched my shoulder, then called to his team, “Gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you all, to a real champion.”

“But she’s a girl.” Some kid said in disgust. No way I was taking crap from these kids. I had enough in high school.

“Gotta problem with that, kid?” I snapped, giving him a good glare back at him.

“Jackson..” Coach warned. “Anyway this is-” He was cut off by number 24.

“Luna Aurora. I am a huge fan, might I add.” He said.

“Hm, Thanks? And you’re?” I asked.

“Stiles Stilinski, Nice to meet you.” He shook my hand. I like this kid.

Coach smacked him on the back of the head. “Stilinski, back off,” He turned to the whole team, “Why don’t you show her, how good you loser actually are? McCall, You are home. Whitmore, Visitor. “

Jackson Whitmore was the smartass kid. McCall was the one I had a strange feeling about.

Then I saw them play. That’s when I knew it, McCall was a werewolf. Jackson looked like he had the abilities to be one too, but he didn’t give off the same -wolf- feeling.

------------

After practice, while Stiles and Scott were walking to Stiles’ jeep, Luna rushed to catch up with them.

She was just about to say something, when Scott turned around. “Oh Hi! I just wanted to ask you two something.” Luna asked.

“Oh That’s why you were following us. “ Scott responded. Something was strange about this girl. He didn’t know what it was.

“Yeah. Stiles, and Uhm Scott, right?” He nodded. She continued, “Okay, So I wanted to know, Where’s Derrek?” She said it soo innocently, as if she didn’t know he was the alpha werewolf.

“D-Derrek? Who is Derrek?” Stiles stuttered. “Yeah. Who is that?” Scott

“Derrek Hale. Taller than me, well everyone is. Dark Hair, on the scary side, oh and he is the Alpha now, I believe.”

Luna stifled a laugh, “Look guys, I know you are probably a beta and you are the slightly dorky friend who knows about werewolves, I’m not hating, I was you for a long time.”

She looked at each boy for a few seconds, until Stiles murmured, “I’m not dorky.”

She smiled, “I know you are not. That’s probably how everyone else describes you though, Right? Now, Where is Derrek?”

“Look, We don’t know what you are talking about. And well, I am going to be late. Bye.”

“Okay. I don’t really  believe you, but okay. Bye.” She gave him a weird look and then left.

Once they both got in the jeep, Stiles announced, “What was that about? How did she even know who he is? And how did she know about the werewolves?”

Scott was just as confused, “I have no clue. She probably knew him through school, right? They are around the same age. She has got to be a werewolf, or oh my god, What if she is a hunter??

“How many freakin’ hunters are there? First we got the Argents, then Grandpa Gerald, next Allison wants to kill Derrek, and now we have another person looking for him, What is going on?” Stiles slammed the steering wheel.

“First we need to call Derrek.” Scott mumbled.

“Yay.”
