After Ava suddenly ends up in a hospital, everything in her life drastically changes.
Her father is going to prison, her mother abandons her and her friends betray her. On top of all of that Ava is being sent to boarding school. The emotional trauma leaves her mute and battling with depression and an eating disorder. She feels completely lost and doesn't know how to make it out of the hole she finds herself in.
